Chapter 21- Corals Coronation.

3rd Person P.O.V:

Coral was pacing, swimming backwards and forwards. She wasn't ready for this. She would be queen in a couple hours. The crown would be passed down.

Where was Ladybug?!

Tikki swam through the courtyard to find Coral in her state and rushed towards her "Princess Coral, you mustn't stress! It brings out wrinkles and greys..." Tikki brushed some hair out of her eyes and wrapped her tail around her finger, leading her to a seat. "Now, deep breaths. You must remain calm-" Tikki sighed as she spoke. She had seen all this before with Ladybug. She wasn't ready either.

But she managed just fine...

Meanwhile on the shore Adrien and Marinette were chatting and giggling. "Hey, don't you have that coronation thing tonight?" Adrien enquired and Marinette's eyes widened. "Oh no!" She cried out, standing hastily and putting on her coat. "What time is it?!" She picked up her purse and threw it over her shoulder.

"It's 3pm" Adrien replied in a concerned tone. He wanted to join her, he wanted to be by her side as she gave up the live she once knew for him. He wanted to be apart of her world before she gave it all away for him.

But he couldn't be.

Marinette leant forward to peck Adrien on the cheek and, clearly seeing this movement, the blonde lover took advantage, moving his cheek in return for his lips and connecting at the perfect moment. He rested his hand on hers as they shared their moment before both of them slowly pulled away and blushed timidly at one another.

"Seeya" Marinette whispered before running out of his room.

As soon as Marinette had left Adrien's sight he took a deep breath. She always took his breath away...

Marinette's P.O.V:

I rushed down the stairs of the Agreste mansion and towards the door breathing heavily. She can usually move around quite fast... underwater...

I had yet to get my stamina perfected for running. That wasn't the issue right now though. I took another deep breath and ran out of the mansion and towards the beach.

If I wasn't quick, I'd be late for the coronation, and I had yet to perfect myself for the event.

'Oh crap-' I froze and gazed at the crowded beach. How on earth was I supposed to get to the water, transform and swim to Atlantis without being spotted?!

This will take more than I expected.

???'s P.O.V:

I noticed a young lady looking at the beach nervously and immediately recognised her. Dark blue hair, shining baby blue eyes... yes. I couldn't mistake her with anyone. I sat up from my bathing position on my sun lounge before closing my eyes, I heard the ocean moving back and the screams of fear from beach visitors "Tsunami! Run!" "Reach high ground!" "Evacuate the beach!" I smiled to myself and stood, opening my eyes and looking over at the blue haired girl fondly. I walked towards the girl and she met me half way.

"Did you..." She began, and clearly- I interrupted with a curtsy.

"You're majesty... it is my honour."

She looked around confused before the water raced around our ankles and she gasped loudly in fear. "Oh no wait!" I exclaimed, grabbing her wrist to stop her from escaping. "You can't be late, Ladybug!"

She stared at me confused before nodding and running into the water with me.

3rd Person P.O.V:

Marinette felt her legs form into a tail and took a deep breath under the water, she smiled lightly as she smelt the ocean and took in all the beautiful colours. That would never get old to her.

She closed her eyes and looked to the woman to see her bowing. "You're majesty..."

"Who are you? How were you up there with me? Explain yourself." Ladybug stated. The woman slowly stopped bowing and looked ladybug in the eyes. "Don't you remember me dear?" She questioned.

Ladybug looked at her long and hard. She did recognise her, but she didn't know where from... Luscious blonde hair... Lush green eyes... "You remind me of my boyfriend... but apart from that, I'm afraid not."

"Ah, well... I don't blame you. It has been a while. I'm Lillian, but please- call me Lily" Lillian smiled kindly and ladybug returned the action and nodded. "Of course, Lily. It's a pleasure meeting you."

Adrien's P.O.V:

I lay down on my bed and stared at the ceiling, wondering how Marinette was doing... She seemed to concerned about being late... what if something was to happen if she was late? What if they chop her hand off... or threaten to take away her ability to leave the ocean?! I couldn't live with that... no way.

I hope she is okay...
