"Good one Jonas." Demi teased as Joe came back over and she laughed as he bowed to her in response after scoring a strike on his turn. He sat back down next to her pinching a fry from the basket in the middle of the table. He couldn't believe he was talking to her, he was nervous at first but his confidence soon came through as they sat down together.

"So what are you doing at college?" Demi question taking a sip of soda through the straw.

"Art," Joe replied leaning back on the seat slightly and Demi raised her eyebrow at him. "What?"

"You just didn't come across as the arty type to me." Demi answered and Joe laughed slightly.

"I've always enjoyed drawing. It's all I did when I was younger for fun, I still have all the scrap books somewhere at home." Joe admitted.

"What do you want to do with it?"

"Tattoo artist." Joe answered and Demi's eyes widened slightly making him chuckle.

"Sorry, it's just not what I expected when you said you were doing art," Demi admitted. "Have you got any tattoos?"

"Yes but don't tell mom, she doesn't know." Joe chuckled taking off his jacket showing her the couple of tattoos he did have.

"If you don't think she'd like you to have tattoos what would she think of you being a tattoo artist?" Demi inquired.

"She doesn't mind what I do, as long as I don't get the tattoos but dad doesn't want me doing it. It isn't considered as a real job to him. Our older brother is a lawyer, I think he wants us to both follow that or something but neither of us want that." Joe explained.

"Do what you want, it's not his life, he's not the one who will have to work in the job for the next at least fifty years," Demi replied. "I'm used to standing up to my parents though."

"Oooo rebel," Joe teased and she slapped his arm. "Why?"

"They're just strict and I guess you could say I'm not what they want from their daughter. I put up fights with them. I'm not having them bossing me around." Demi shrugged her shoulders.

"I like a bad girl," Joe smirked and Demi playfully rolled her eyes. "But seriously, you wanna go on a date sometime?"

"I''d love to but I think I'll have to say no." Demi answered looking up at him.

"Why?" Joe questioned back.

"It's just my parents, I've been pushing them a lot recently and I don't want them to have a heart attack. They would never let me date a boy three years older than me."

"It seems like you never listen to them so why are you this time?" Joe questioned and Demi shrugged her shoulders. "Fine, I have a plan. Agree to go on a date with me and I promise I'll make sure they don't know it's me."

"How?"

"You'll see." Joe grinned and Demi laughed.

"Okay, I trust you," She answered writing her number down on a napkin before sliding it over to him.

Joe pulled up back in the driveway. It wasn't too late, Paul and Denise would still be up but they were quiet as they entered the house just in case but they could hear the TV so they knew they were up and they joined their parents in the living room.

"Good time boys?" Denise inquired and they both nodded their heads.

"Though, Joe promised to be on my team but then abandoned me for a girl! We ended up losing because Joe managed at least five strikes." Nick complained and Joe chuckled.

"More girls? Why don't you spend the summer doing something other than chasing girls?" Paul questioned.

"Because all the hot girls are out at summer dad," Joe grinned Denise shaking her head at her sons as they gave one another a high five but Joe stood up. "I'm gonna go upstairs and get an early night, it's been a long day."

"That's fine sweetie, good night." Denise answered smiling as her son gave her a hug and he patted Paul's arm gently.

"I'll see you in the morning." He spoke before heading upstairs, he wasn't surprised when Nick followed him. He found himself entering his room though.

"What do you want now?" Nick joked as Joe sat on the bed.

"Can you do my a favor?" Joe questioned.

"Depends what." Nick replied.

"Can you help me out on taking Demi out on a date? She doesn't want to get into anymore trouble with her parents." Joe stated.

"What? Don't her parents want her dating players?" Nick teased.

"Yes but more likely my age, I am three years older," Joe stated. "I just need you to pick her up and drop her off again after the date."

"What's in it for me?" Nick bargained and Joe rolled his eyes.

"Besides helping out your big brother? How about her dad being a massive record producer, if you get on a good side with him, he may even sign you."

"I'm in," Nick said almost instantly and Joe chuckled. "Just don't mess her around, please?"

"I promise," Joe answered standing up. "Goodnight." Joe left the room shutting the door behind him before heading towards his own room to settle down for the night.
