Joe got up from the couch where he was playing video games with Nick greeting his older brother with a hug as he came into the room. He gave Dani a hug too as she held the car seat only able to give hi a one arm hug.

"How are things going?" Kevin questioned.

"They're good, glad summer is here." Joe grinned.

"So you can party more." Nick teased.

"Hey, I've invited you to plenty of college parties but you declined." Joe teased back.

"Because I want to save college parties for when I am in college." Nick replied and Joe shook his head taking the car seat from Dani setting it up on the coffee table smiling when he saw the baby was awake but content.

"Hello Alena." Joe cooed and Nick leaned forward to see his niece too. Alena started giggling when her uncles started pulling faces at her. Kevin and Dani had gone into the kitchen to greet Denise and Paul who had just arrived home.

"You think you're gonna have kids one day?" Nick questioned watching as Joe lifted Alena out of the car seat keeping her in his arms as he sat back against the couch. The last time he had come home was four months ago when Alena was born.

"Yeah but not anytime soon, I hope anyway."

"What do you mean?" Nick questioned switching the TV off but kept the console on. They knew Kevin would join them soon and Paul might too.

"Well, I'm careful whenever I'm with girls but I'm still aware of the risks that could come with it." Joe shrugged his shoulders gently.

"Then maybe you should stop sleeping around." Nick lectured slightly and Joe chuckled.

"Nah, I can't help that they all want me," Joe smirked and Nick rolled his eyes gently. "You slept with Sel yet?"

"No, we broke up." Nick replied and Joe turned to him.

"Why?"

"We just had an argument." Nick shrugged his shoulders.

"Girls are complicated, you'll learn that soon enough." Joe replied and Nick laughed as he got up entering the kitchen. Denise started cooing over her granddaughter.

Joe and Nick ate dinner with their family before they had gone to go get ready for bowling. Joe knew most of Nick's friends and he was familiar to them too so he didn't find it too bad that he was going to be there. The two brothers had been close, all three of them were close but Joe and Nick had bonded more since Kevin went to college himself.

"Ready?" Joe questioned as he walked past Nick's room, his door was open and he was just slipping a shirt over his torso after spraying some deodorant.

"Yep, let's go." Nick replied following his brother out of the room and they headed down the stairs. They entered the living room just to say goodbye to everyone. Kevin and Dani looked like they were ready to be on their way anyway but they all said goodbye to the two boys and they headed out of the house.

"It's been a while since I've been bowling." Joe admitted as he climbed into the drivers side of the car, Nick getting into the passengers side.

"I go quite a lot with friends, it was my idea for us to all go tonight, a lot of them are going on vacation soon." Nick replied.

"We should have gone somewhere, just us." Joe stated.

"We could have done, mom and dad have never been ones for us to go away every year, unless it was to go see granny and grandpa." Nick stated as Joe pulled out of the driveway and they waved to everyone as they came out of the house, mainly to wave Kevin and Dani off who wanted to get home to put Alena to bed.

"Maybe it's not too late?" Joe suggested.

"What? Find one of those last minute deals? We could do, we'll see. I don't have much money." Nick chuckled.

"Good point, me too," Joe answered and they both laughed. "We could maybe afford to go camping or something?"

"Sounds good to me." Nick replied looking out the window as they headed towards the bowling alley.
