Demi couldn't watch as Joe was led out of the room not able to say a word to anyone as he was. She couldn't look at her parents either as they followed them out of the room as if they wanted to make sure that he was gone and away from her. Joe had never done anything to hurt her.

"Come on, we'll get you back up on the bed," Paul encouraged and he managed to get her up onto the bed with Nick's help Demi slumping down not caring about the pain it caused. All she could think about was her parents and what they had done to Joe. It would change her life forever, change their daughter's lives but also his. He hadn't done anything wrong.

"We'll get the best lawyer in the damn country Demi, he's not going to stay in prison." Denise assured her trying to keep back her tears, she couldn't imagine any of her sons doing enough to get into prison. Joe had always been a bit more of a troublemaker but never enough to even be in trouble with the police.

"T-This is why I didn't want to tell anyone, because I knew what they'd do if the news got to them." Demi choked slightly wiping her eyes but she felt comforted as Denise held her hand. She had really become like a second mom to her. Living with her and Paul so long, they had grown a connection.

"We can understand that but honestly, Joe hasn't done anything wrong so I'm sure things will be fine. Once the judge sees the situation and that it wasn't rape or anything. Things will be fine."

"I-I hope so." Demi stammered.

"You should try and get some rest Demi, it's been a long night." Paul ordered softly.

"Will you be here when I wake up?" Demi inquired.

"It depends if they ask us to leave." Denise replied.

"I'll stay here, I'll pretend to be Joe for a bit." Nick assured her and Demi let out a breathless laugh.

"Thanks." Demi breathed as she settled down closing her eyes. She tried her best to sleep her mind on anything but Joe but somehow her mind always traveled back to him. Even when she thought of Tahlia and Tyler. She couldn't drop off knowing how tiny they were and not knowing how long she'll have to be in and out of hospital for just to visit her daughters. She did drop off after half and hour or so when her body was too exhausted to carry on.

Paul, Denise and Nick all stayed silent until they were sure Demi was asleep, they didn't want to risk her waking up. She needed some rest despite everything that had gone on today, they were all forced awake early into the night Demi not sure whether she was experiencing contractions or not. They rushed her in just in case, they didn't want to risk anything.

"So how long has there been this little secret?" Denise inquired.

"Not much longer than when the babies were conceived. You know what Joe is like and Demi is the same." Nick explained.

"I think it's horrible that they felt like they had to keep a secret from everyone just to make sure that something like this doesn't happen." Paul admitted.

"Then it happens anyway." Denise sighed looking at Demi.

"Joe wanted to tell you ages ago but Demi has always been scared. I guess we underestimated them slightly. We should have listened to Demi a bit more." Nick stated.

"There's nothing more you could have done, Joe should have been the one there when the babies were born and even though this has happened because of it, I'm still glad Joe was there and was able to go see them before it happened." Denise expressed.

"I wonder if they managed to get pictures." Paul stated.

"I don't need pictures, at the moment. I know they're going to be adorable." Denise grinned.

"I'm still kind of surprised it's twins." Nick admitted.

"Sometimes twins just come, there doesn't need to be anything within either families. Sometimes it just happens. Obviously we don't know Demi's family as well but we don't have any twins." Denise stated and Nick shrugged his shoulders.

"Demi hasn't mentioned anything. Oh, I wonder if they came up with names too." Nick stated and Demi opened her eyes looking over at them cracking a small smile.

"Tahlia and Tyler," She spoke and they looked over at her. "I'm not going to be able to sleep well until I know everything is going to be okay but we named them Tahlia and Tyler."

"Oh they're beautiful names." Denise cooed.

"You know, Tyler is a boys name?" Nick questioned.

"Ask your brother," Demi replied. "But it's growing on me."

"As long as you like the names, that's all that matters." Paul answered and Demi shifted on the bed a bit trying to settle down again but it was proving difficult.
