Demi was soon moved to recovery and Joe took off the scrubs changing back into his normal clothes. He didn't know what to think of everything but the bottom line was, his daughters were here and neither of them cried. His focus was on them, praying that they were both going to be fine. He left the room seeing one of the nurses was waiting for him.

"Demi was taken this way." She explained leading him over and Joe followed next to her.

"Will the girls be okay?" Joe couldn't help but to question her. But it was part of her job to assure the worried parents.

"They're running tests now as we speak but they're on oxygen to help them breath. They made need it for a while because they are premature and very small." She explained and Joe sighed.

"As long as they are fine for now." Joe breathed.

"We'll come to you both as soon as we have news, try and get Demi to rest as much as she can. The more she rests, the longer she'll be able to visit the babies." Joe nodded his head gently.

"Thank you." He stated before entering the room Demi had been left in. He saw her sat up on the bed her hair still messy and her stomach flat. He could tell that she had been crying.

"Do you know how they are?" Demi questioned and Joe came over to the bed sitting down on the chair next to her bed.

"They're on oxygen to help them breathe and they're running tests now just to make sure everything is okay. She said they'd be here if they have any news." Joe explained passing her a tissue and Demi wiped her eyes.

"I just want them to be okay." Demi choked and Joe grabbed hold of her hand, he kind of relieved that she didn't pull it away.

"Me too but they'l do all they can," Joe stated. "Try and settle down, even if you can sleep, just relax for a bit. You're body has been through a lot." Joe demanded softly.

"Promise me, if I fall asleep, you'll wake me if there is any news." Demi demanded looking over at him.

"I will." He promised.

"T-Thank you." Demi stammered slightly before taking in a deep breath settling herself down as the room fell silent again.

Joe stayed quiet himself mainly to see whether Demi would be able to get some sleep and she fell asleep. He took the opportunity to head back to the relatives room knowing his family would desperately wanting to hear some news themselves, he was a little nervous now they knew the truth but it didn't stop him entering.

"Is everything okay?" Denise questioned almost instantly.

"They're here but obviously they're small and they didn't cry when they were born. They are on oxygen now and having tests run." Joe explained running his fingers through his hair.

"And Demi?"

"She's fine, sleeping now. She's mad that I told you all the truth. I just don't know what to do."

"This has gone on for too long, it was stopping you from being a dad. You did the right thing." Nick assured him.

"I know that but it doesn't stop her from being mad at me. I should get back anyway, in case I hear any other news." Joe stated.

"We'll find someone and ask if we can come along." Paul stated and Joe nodded his head about to leave again when he turned around looking around. It was only then he noticed Eddie and Dianna weren't around.

"Where are Demi's parents? I'm sure she's gonna want them to visit soon." Joe stated.

"We don't know." Denise spoke honestly and Joe couldn't help but grow slightly concerned not knowing what they were up to. He hadn't spent too much time with them over the time he's been dating their daughter but going by what Demi had said. He was defiantly concerned on what they might do.

"Right, see you soon." Joe spoke before leaving heading back towards Demi's room. He shut the door quietly so it didn't wake Demi up and he sat back down on the chair next to her bed.

He watched over her as she slept admiring her. He didn't want her to be angry at him. This was a happy time for them, welcoming their girls into the world. They should be comforting one another as they awaited news on them. But he understood she was a little younger than her and something that seemed so small to him might mean something much more to him. But he was relieved when his parents and younger brother were deemed allowed to come in and sit with him. He sat on the couch with his parents having the comfort from them.

But nothing would beat the comfort of holding his daughters and knowing that they were going to be okay.
