The next day at breakfast, everyone was quiet. Mom didn't speak, dickhead didn't speak nor did I. Mom was constantly looking at Chloe's empty chair. Guess she wouldn't even notice if I didn't eat anything. "David's going to drive you to school again" Mom said after a while. "No, he's not" I replied. Dickhead dropped his fork once I said that and choked on his food. Why can't he choke to death? "Clare! You're going to school, if you want to or not!" David started, not getting that he isn't my father and has no right to talk to me in that way. "I'm going to school, just not with you! After what happened on Friday, I'm not getting into another care with you!" I said and got up. "And you don't dare to say anything because I ate your fucking scrambled eggs and I'm not thinking about throwing them back up, at least not yet. So if I would be you, I wouldn't even try to make conversation with me, because it's worthless anyways. I'm not buying any of the shit you have been selling" I said, put my plate and fork into the sink, grabbed my bag and left the house early.

After all I was walking to Blackwell or at least that was the plan. "I knew you would walk past here at any time" Frank said, leaning against his home on wheels. "It's the road to Blackwell and I thought Hey, why not leave early. I'm going to walk there anyways. It's definitely time for my birthday. I'm sick of being 15. I want to have a driver's license and a car, like that I don't have to walk or rely on other people" I said. "When's your birthday?" He asked. "Already had it this year. Not turning 16 for at least another six months or more, since I wasn't born in January" I said. "I can drive you to school" Frank said. "I wouldn't say no to that" I said and climbed in, followed by him.

"Do you really hate it that much at home?" Frank asked and I sighed "It's worse than Blackhell" I told him, leaning back in the seat that could already have my name on it. "So you want to move out?" He asked. "It's something I'm considering, but as a 15 year old mentally ill teenager, it's not really something I can do. I can't even afford to move into the dorms" I told him. "I would offer you a place to stay, but this place isn't really something for you either" He said. "Yeah, my mom would sleep well at night, knowing I'm living with drug dealer in his RV. Together with his killer puppy" I said. "So, how's it going with your sister?" He changed the topic, but I didn't really like this topic either. "Not talking, well not to her. Nothing to talk about. I risk everything and she gives a shit. Nothing else I can do" I said.

The rest of the ride, Frank and I didn't talk to each other. We only said goodbye when I got out of the RV and he drove off again. "Getting a ride to school from your dealer?" Rachel asked, suddenly appearing next to me. "He's not my dealer Rachel. I'm not a stoner and I don't take drugs" I said "He's a good friend of mine" "How are you friends with him?" Rachel asked. "He was there when I needed someone, when I was about to do something I would have never had the chance to regret" I told her. "Like what?" Rachel asked. "Something a person suffering from depression would do" I said, not wanting to say the word.

"Oh" She said and looked down. "It's cool. I'm pretty cool about it all, well now I am" I told her. I didn't want her to worry or feel bad about it. Enough people feel bad about me and I don't need the Rachel Amber to be the same. "So... Have you spoken to Chloe?" I changed the topic. "Yes, we talk all the time. Sadly she isn't as happy as she usually was" "I'm pretty sure she told you about our fight, didn't she?" I said. "Yeah, she did. It's one of the reasons we postponed our escape from Arcadia Hell" She said and I was surprised. "Chloe doesn't want to leave yet because of our fight?" I asked confused.

"Exactly. She cares about you and she really appreciates what you did in Wells office, she just doesn't know how to show it" Rachel defended my sister. Although it was cute of her, I couldn't forgive Chloe about it, especially not when the so called apology came from Rachel and not from Chloe herself! "If Chloe has something to say to me, I would really prefer it to come from her herself and not from you. I'm sorry Rachel, I like you, but you can't be the Hermes of Chloe and I" I said to her. "I know that and I'm sure so does Chloe, she just doesn't know how to approach you" "Then she should just try. Maybe she should just buy some weed, there is a big chance that she meets me then" I said and walked off. I didn't really want to talk about Chloe anymore. I know I have started that topic, but I was sick of Rachel's lame excuses for Chloe.

I walked around the outside of the campus since classes weren't for like another twenty minutes and walked over to two students my age. They were both kind of nerdy, but I guess so is my best friend or former best friend or childhood best friend, I don't fucking know. We haven't really chosen a name for us yet or our status.

"Hey, aren't you Chloe's sister?" The girl with the short hair and beanie asked. "Guess that's who I'm known for" I said "What are you playing?" I asked. "It's a roleplay, do you want to join?" She asked. The boy looking up at me as well. "Nah, but I'm more than happy to watch you. Maybe next time I'll join in on a game or two" I said. "If you promise" The girl said. "I swear on my name" I said "Speaking about that, what are your names?" I asked. "I'm Steph and this is Mikey" She introduced them. "Clare, but I guess you already knew that since you knew who I was" I said. "We heard of you. You're with Nathan Prescott, aren't you" Steph said and I nod.

"I'm guessing this is what this is about. I'm Chloe's sister as well as Nathan's girlfriend and those two things don't work together or what?" I asked. "No, Clare, you misunderstood Steph!" Mikey interrupted us. "I don't care, I'm out" I said and walked away from them, all excitement for the game had left me.

I sighed and walked towards the dormitory to see if Nathan was still there or if he had already left for class.
