"Are you ready?" My dad whispered as he looked at my reflection through the mirror.
"Ready as i'll ever be." I try to force a smile.
"Why are you crying sweetie?" My dad says in a hushed tone as he wipes my tears away.
"I've been waiting for this day all my life dad, i'm just really happy."

"Bro you all right?"My childhood friend nudges my elbow, he's probably never seen me in this state. "You've been staring into space, aren't you excited?"
"Of course I am, if she's happy then i'm happy." I assured him.
If she's happy with the man she's marrying of course I'll be happy for her. That guy is just so lucky.
