A Trip Inside My Head

She's here.
Leia is sleeping right between my arms, looking so beautiful I've been staring at her for a while.

Taking a quick look around I realized that everything is still the same, but I feel different; so different, it's like being in a roller coaster that's going all the way up and you feel a sudden adrenaline rush that you can't get enough of, in other words; I am happy.

I don't wanna get up, fuck everything including reality and all the things that happened lately, she's here, I'm here, we're finally together no matter how crazy life is, oh wait, she said she loves me right? I wasn't just dreaming? I.. I really can't describe how I feel right now, I'm smiling like an idiot.

Playing with her hair I drew a little kiss on her highness's forehead, I don't wanna leave this bed, in fact I don't wanna move at all! The woman I love is laying right in front of me, and I want nothing more.

"Wake up beautiful mess!" Leia's whispering in my ear putting kisses all over my face to wake me up not knowing how it's paralyzing, I didn't realize that I fell asleep again.

"I'm awake but keep waking me up"

"Like... this?" she kissed me more

"Yes your highness" I smiled, she giggled

"Hey, aren't you planning to stop calling me that?"

"Your highness?"

"Yeah, I mean you barely called my name!"

"Oh I'm sure I did" I laughed

"You perv!!!"

"Well, you wouldn't get it if you weren't one too!"

"Get what exactly?"

"Damn! You learn fast your highness"

"Here we go again"

"What's wrong with it though?"

"Nothing, but.. everyone else calls me things like 'Queen, supreme leader...' but you.. you know you can call me anything"

"Alright then miss 'anything' I'd still go with what I always call you and don't try to change my mind" I just realized we're naked in bed having a random talk.

"You can just call me by my name like I do"

"That's because I'm not a Queen!"

"Since when that was a difference between us?"

"Look, I don't give a shit what others call you or the fact that they call you specific names based on your position in society, I call you 'your highness' because the first time I opened my eyes in this room I saw the most beautiful woman in the world(s) and I froze for minutes forgetting how to breathe, and you might not remember but I've been also calling you 'my Queen' so.." I'm starting to blush while she's just looking at me with a smile.

"I love you Alexia, call me whatever you want" I think I just got a heart attack or something

"Uh.. wait.. I wasn't just hallucinating last night right?"

"I love you" great, another heart attack

"Stop, I love you too but warn me next time before saying it"

"You don't wanna hear it?"

"No! Uh yes! I mean, it's just that my little heart can't handle all this cuteness and it was kind of surprising"

"Surprising? I thought you'd figure it out before I'd say anything"

"I never thought you'd say it back.."

"But I did, and I do love you, get used to hearing it"

"Are you planning on killing me?"

"Yes sweetheart" she kissed me and that's it, I'm dead

"I just.. I don't know how these things work.. I mean, I've never really been in love and it took me by surprise to know that someone loves me"

"You realize that I've never even thought about being with anyone right?"

"Oh damn, and then there's that other thing with the spirits"

"I don't care"

"Stop copying my shitty attitude"

"I'm not, but the only thing that matters to me in this moment is that you're back and you will be safe here"

Leia held my hand burying her head in my neck, I grabbed her hand and kissed it ignoring my broken bones and how painful it is to just move, but I've never felt better.

I didn't wanna bother Leia and ask her to help me walk, not that I don't want her to babysit me but I need to move a little by myself to get my bones to function again.

Later on I was trying to stand up and shower I heard the Queen calling me for breakfast, and before I knew it she was already in the shower with me.

"You look like you need help" she's giggling again

"And you look like you need to be kissed"

"That would be helpful for both of us" her smile enough makes me feel better, kissing her makes me feel alive

"I think I like having my bones broken"

"Don't say that"

"I don't ever wanna leave you side my Queen"

"I won't let that happen Alexia"

"You know what I'm talking about don't you?"

"I do, and I will repeat it again, I will never let you go" my eyes teared up a bit

"Your highn-" I got interrupted by a kiss from her

"Yes Alexia?" she's looking right through me

"I know this might be a bad time but, would you like to go out on a date with me?"

"You can't even stand"

"We never had a proper date"

"We have a whole eternity ahead of us"

"I don't trust time, it flies by super fast"

"So where do you wanna go?" she's smiling at me again, making my heart pound harder

"Being anywhere with you would be great"

"Hmm, I'll take you somewhere later tonight"

"Where?"

"It's a surprise" damn she's so cute

"Hey hold on right there, I was the one who asked you out!" she's giving  teasing look

"Well then, where do you wanna take me? can you even walk?"

"You jerk! stop being so unfair to me!" she let out a laugh

"You're so cute when you're mad, come here" she said it while putting her arms around me

"You're so stubborn, but you can't be more stubborn than am"

"What?"

"Since I can hardly move, I was thinking of reading you a book and listen to music together in the place where we first met"

"Alexia.. we met in.."

"Here in your bedroom, yes"

"You said I should warn you, right?"

"Is it about-"

"I love you Alexia from the other world"
