It's already morning, I woke up in a couch I barely recognize and I could hardly open my eyes when someone drew the curtains and let the sunshine in, of course I know her, I don't remember how or what exactly happened but I'm laying on my ex's couch, well, Natalie wasn't really my girlfriend to begin with, but since she worked as a bartender at one of the clubs I played in we hooked up pretty much every single day/night for quite a while until I ended things with her mostly because we spent 'too much time' together and I don't like to be with the same person for a while, boohoo old me.

Natalie is the kind of person anyone would fall for, she's beautiful and smart, I remember she once mentioned that she wants to go to the UK after she graduates to start a PhD program in Quantum Physics, she has a strong personality and always says what she's thinking and goes for what she wants, she was pretty clear about wanting to be with me under any circumstances but I had to end things before I hurt her even more.

"Good morning sunshine! How are you doing? Horrible right? You totally deserve it Alex" oh, ouch

"Thanks I guess" I didn't even bother asking her anything, I just need my phone to get a ride home

"Are you looking for your phone? You broke it"

"What are you even talking about?"

"Let me refresh your memory since you seem to have forgotten everything about last night" she sat in the couch next to me and she looked really annoyed. "I almost hit you with my car, you were walking faster than the Flash and suddenly appeared right in front of me, I recognized your drunk head and hopped you in my car after literally carrying you off the ground because you fell and broke your damn phone"

"I need some water Nat"

"I don't give a shit what you need okay? I helped you out because you once meant the world to me and you destroyed that"

"I'm really sorry" for the first time in my life I actually understood that I did something wrong, something really bad, and before I knew it I suddenly burst in tears and started shaking

"Holy crap, wait I'll go get you some water" I pulled her by her arm before she stood up

"You're right, I do feel horrible and I deserve it Natalie" she hugged me and without a word she went to the kitchen and brought me a glass of water

"Look, I don't know what's going on with you Alex, you've been on the news for weeks now and they've been saying some crazy shit about you, but that's what everyone else says, I won't believe any of it unless you tell me"

"Nat-"

"Oh shut up! I know that you're a very reserved person but..." she held my hand and looked right into my eyes. "I need you to tell me what happened, say anything, and if you feel like it then you can tell me why you disappeared for months and nobody heard from you until we saw you on the news"

"I did nothing wrong Natalie"

"That's a good start!"

"If you wanna listen to what I have to say then you better shut up first"

"Okay fine, go ahead I won't interrupt"

A few hours have passed and it was already noon when I finished telling her my story, I could tell she was pretty shocked and obviously had lots of questions, but to be honest, this was better than an uncomfortable talk with a shrink.

"Umm.. I have to go, my parents would have gone crazy looking for me, not because they care about me but I'm still under watch since I'm still considered a criminal, well, sort of"

"So uh.. Wait, hold on a second"

"Here we go"

"You actually went to another dimension? That's so freaking cool, I mean I know you said you don't wanna go there again but you're probably just having mixed feelings about it, and woah, there's actually a girl out there that you're in love with! Talk about shocking!"

"Natalie!"

"Don't 'Natalie' me! I have tons of questions about a lot of things and-"

"She's here by the way"

"What?"

"The Queen.. I know I was drunk but it was her, I was running away from her last night so I guess that's how you almost hit me"

"Holy fuuuck, you don't say?!!"

"I don't understand what's happening either okay? I was avoiding her and ran away asking her not to follow me"

"Did you talk to her"

"I remember slapping her"

"Do you screw up all your relationships on purpose or do you just suck?"

"You more than anyone else know how I suck"

"Oh, seductive as always aren't you"

"Annoying as always Nat, I gotta go"

"Okay so since you don't have a phone anymore, can you use your laptop? I'll email you all the questions I have"

"Have a nice day Nat, lock your door"

"Oh wait, I'm leaving too, want me to drive you home?" I have no phone, therefore I have no other way to get back home

"Yeah sure, thanks"

While Natalie was changing I went to take a quick shower to freshen up before leaving, I called my father from her phone to update him and told him that I'm coming back soon, I heard my mother screaming next to him as usual, not like I care anyway.

I was about to dry my hair when I heard Natalie yelling 'and who the fuck are you' at the door, and without thinking I left the room in a hurry to go see what was going on outside forgetting that I haven't even put my clothes on, Natalie was still standing by the door with only her underwear on and right in front of her there was Leia, wow, just when I thought things can't get any worse.

The Queen was staring at me like I was the only person she could see, Natalie was looking at the both of us and how we were exchanging hundreds of words through our glares, I didn't know what to say, I was out of words to be frank.

"Uh, I guess I'll leave you two alone" Natalie went back inside and I just stood there, unable to move

"May I come in? We need to talk" okay, this is bad, this is seriously bad

"Yes of course, come in your highness" if she just wants to talk, then let it be.
