John had lived above the Arctic circle his whole life and he was never accustomed to city life. His family had moved up there after he was born and have made it their home. John knows how to hunt, trap, and build to survive in the harsh climate.
Sherlock had never lived outside of the city in his life and because of that, he wasn't really fit for the harsh winters of Alaska. When his family dragged him out into the brutal desert, he found something he would never expect to find in the city.
I've never actually made a Johnlock story, but I hope you like it. This was heavily inspired by a TV show in which these people live in Alaska and do their best to survive. I can't quite remember the name of it but whatever.
