"School clinic is the best," you muttered while laying down on the clinic's bed.

The school's doctor, Joshua, chuckled at you. "Why are you here? You are not even sick at all."

You sat up and looked at him. "I am sick Doctor."

He sit down on the chair beside you, showing his infamous deer like eyes smile. "What kind of sick?"

"Love sick," you answered with a poker face reaction. And to make him believe, you put your hands to your chest and gripped it. "Ouch."

After seconds of blinking his eyes, he laughed hard. "Do you expect me to believe that? A girl like you will never be in love."

You chuckled along with him.

He is right. You hate men, you hate being in love romantically and you are the most cold  girl in your town. Happy ending never exist, that is your life's motto.

However, why do you feel comfortable with this guy?

You have been hanging with this doctor for almost 4 years in this school. At first, you thought he is like those bunch of guys out there. But Doctor Joshua is different. He is the only guy you can talk with, you can share your thoughts and someone you can spill your secrets.

For you, he is like an older brother, a caring and protective one.

"Now, tell me what's bothering you?" He asked in sweet tone.

"I," you started, "skip classes cause I want to avoid a certain person."

"Oh, that's new. You used to not interfere in anyone's life. Who is that 'Certain Person' huh?" He leaned closer.

"Hmm. I have this childhood friend."

"Uhuh, then?"

"I met her when I was 7 years old. She came in this town during summer vacation."

"Pretty?"

"Yes. She is really pretty. And every boy in our town wants to play with her. However, she decided to hang out with me."

"Did you play with her?"

"Of course! She is a girl so she is an exception. I don't playy with boys when I was kid. Well, I don't until now."

He nodded and continued to listen to your story. "Then?"

"Then, we liked each other."

"Romantically?! Are you a lesb---"

You covered his mouth and declared "No I am not!"

He removed your hand and sighed. "Okay okay, continue." Then he just chuckled

"I mean, I like her as a friend. She is cool. She cared for me and protected me. But she needs to go to L.A."

"Where in L.A? I used to lived in California "

"Doctor, it is not your story okay. Don't butt it. You are cutting the flow of the story."

"Okay okay," he giggled. "Sorry. And then? What happened?"

"Before she moved out, she said that if we see each other after years, I will be her GIRLFRIEND. And I was so happy. Because she was treating me as her friend, a friend that is a girl."

"Hmm, that's sweet. Now, what is the problem?"

"She came back and transferred to this school."

"Really?! Then why are you avoiding her?" His eyes widen. "It is a great news since you are a loner and doesn't have any friends,either girl or boy."

"Doctor," you looked into his eyes. "She is not a she. She is a boy."

"Wait. What?!" He exclaimed.

"I thought, he is a girl when we were young. But now that he came back, I was shocked that the kid who I used to play with is actually a boy, a pretty boy. Tssk, he lied to me."

"Wow. That is... A rare case. It is the first time I heard that love story."

"This is not a love story?! You know how I hate guys! Especially, liars!" You shouted.

He covered his ears and nodded. "Okay okay, I understand. So what happen? Did he bothered you?"

"Hmm," you looked away. "He told the whole students that I am his girlfriend. And... And... He kissed me."

Joshua is surprised. He never heard you hanging with another guys. Then why is he getting too much affected over this? Does he really saw you as a little sis? As a mere student? As a friend? Or something more than what he is expecting since he is too slow to realize his own feelings?

He blinked, he gulped, his lips are pursed while his fists are clenching.

"Am I being jealous because she now have a new guy in her life?" He asked himself.

"Doctor? Hey, Joshua? Yohooo! Are you alive? Why are you sitting there like a duck laying her eggs?" You asked curiously.

So he came to his senses and blabbered, "Oh yeah. I was... Ahmmm."

Suddenly, the clinic's door opened. A guy went in, it was Hannie, your childhood's playmate.

"Good day doctor. I am here to take care of my girlfriend," he said while smiling.

But Joshua replied, "Your girlfriend is not here kid."

His smiles faded away as he pointed your direction. "There she is. That girl you are talking with is my girlfriend."

You are exchanging your sight, left and right, Hannie to Doctor Joshua. And there are three things you are feeling right now: the frustration, the tension and the hard beating of your heart.

Hannie, or Jeonghan, his real name, walks towards you and grabbed your wrist. "I'm gonna get my Girlfriend,"

However, Joshua didn't make it happen. He yanked Jeonghan's hand away from you and stated with a fierce tone, "She is my..."

Jeonghan glared at him, an intense glare a man owns. "My... What?"

"Mine," Joshua continued.
