I'm sitting in this chair looking around the room. Ainsley is playing with Eli on the floor, with my mom watching them. My sister is doing finishing touches to my hair. My three best friends from college, who are my bridesmaids, are getting my dress ready. Today is the day that I get married to the love of my life, Kyle Patterson. I'm very nervous but I don't know why. I've only known Kyle for two years but I know this is right isn't it? I'm always too realistic and second guessing myself. I've been surrounded by family and friends who have been hyping this day up which is just making me more nervous.
"Jen! Earth to Jen" Julia says waving her hand in front of my face
"What" I snap at her
She glares at me "what's wrong, you were kind of in your own world for a minute there"
"I'm ummm fine. I'm fine"
"Okay if you say so. Ready to get dressed"
"Yeah I guess I should"
I stand up and immediately start to feel sick
"Jennifer honey are you okay" my mom asks and comes over to me
"Umm yes it's just the nerves I guess" I chuckle nervously
"That's completely normal honey, let's get you in that dress"
My three friends help me get into my gorgeous white lace dress. My hair is still fairly short but I dyed it back to blonde, my natural color. It's in loose curls with some of my hair in the front pulled back together in a flower clip.

Once my dress is all buttoned up and properly squeezing my insides, I really start to feel dizzy and short of breath. I dart to the bathroom and lock the door. I slide down to the ground and hug my knees to my chest trying to calm down. Eventually I open the toilet and begin throwing up. When I'm done, I sit down on the bathroom floor and begin massaging my head. Usually I throw up when I get a migraine so I'm trying to prevent that. I can hear my sister and friends pounding on the door trying to figure out if I'm okay. I can't bring myself to answer my family's questions, but I can hear them talking.
"Is mommy okay" I hear Ainsley ask
"I'm sure she's fine sweetie" my mom assures her
"You don't think she's climbing out the window do you?" Julia says
"Don't talk like that" my moms snaps
"Jen open the door!" Julia yells and pounds on the door
"Maybe we should get Kyle" one of my friends suggests
"No of course not, he can't see her before the ceremony." my mom says
"Well she won't listen to us so I'm getting Kyle" Julia says
After a twenty minutes I hear frantic knocking on the door
"Jennifer, are you okay?" I hear Kyle ask worryingly
I wipe my tears, stand up, and unlock the door. He immediately closes it behind him and pulls me in for a hug. I pull back in his grasp and he goes slack jaw
"What?" I ask in concern
"Nothing it's just, you look absolutely stunning"
He goes to kiss me but I put my head down. He takes my hands and squeezes them
"What's the matter"
"I threw up you don't want my vomit breath, it's worse than your morning breath" I joke and peak at him through my lashes
"Wow" he chuckles at me "was it the nerves" he asks seriously "the throwing up, I mean"
"Well I was feeling very overwhelmed about this whole big ordeal, then I started feeling really nauseous and panicky so I ran in here. Luckily I didn't ruin the dress"
"You don't have to be nervous, it's still a simple small ceremony"
I place my hands on his chest "I know I just had a freak out"
"Why were you crying then"
I let another tear slip down my face "well I had a thought. I've been peeing excessively and have been nauseous. I thought it was just wedding nerves but I decided to do something"
I turn my head towards the sink and he looks over. He picks up the odd shaped stick from the counter and examines it. He looks at me with a question in his eyes
"I'm pregnant" I confirm overjoyed as tears stream down my face
He pulls me in for a deep kiss
"We're going to have a baby" he says happily
"Yes" I laugh "I wanted to start trying cause I thought it would take awhile. You heard the doctor who said that the odds were low. But the first round of the fertility drugs worked" I can't help but smile from ear to ear as he wipes his tears away and mine
"Next time you have wonderful news please don't lock yourself in the bathroom" he chuckles
"I know, but I think I'm entitled to one cliché wedding freak out"
"True" he admits "You had me completely convinced that we might not get pregnant. I'm so unbelievably happy I can't believe it. So now let's go share the news!"
I grab his hand "no no no, you can't tell anyone for three months. It's still technically a risky pregnancy"
He puts his hand on my stomach and I smile "this baby will be fine. Now let's go get married, don't worry I'll act surprised when I see the dress"
I chuckle at him "You're an idiot"
"But I'm your idiot; now I'm going to ask your sister to get you a toothbrush then I'll see you at the alter"
I push him out the door with a smirk and Ainsley comes over to hug me
"Are you okay momma?"
"Yes baby everything's okay, I just needed a moment to myself"

Ainsley walks down the aisle in her cute white dress throwing flower petals. Eli toddles right behind her carrying the rings, he starts crying halfway down the aisle and Lorelei goes to pick him up. She holds him as she stands next to her father. Lorelei is Kyle's bestman which is incredibly sweet. Eventually it's my turn to walk down the aisle; I take my father's arm and look at all my friends and family. When I make it to the front I take Kyle's hand and stare lovingly in his eyes. We exchange vows and place rings on each others fingers. Right as Kyle and I kiss, Eli begins to cry
"Mama!" He cries and everyone starts laughing. I take him from Lorelei's arms and he calms. Kyle picks up Ainsley and holds Lorelei's hand. We all walk back down the aisle together and everyone claps.
Kyle and I wanted Lorelei to sing for our first dance but she was way too scared. So we compromised and said she could play guitar. I asked Colin to sing and play with her so she wouldn't be so nervous. That was probably a bad idea considering it only made her more nervous. Anyway, they did a beautiful job and it was definitely fun to dance with Colin at my real wedding. We got a picture to post for the fans and they went nuts. I even took a pic with Ginny and Josh, and then one with Lana. It was really wonderful to watch Lorelei dance with her girlfriend Annie. Lorelei wore a pantsuit to match her father and Annie wore a beautiful long blue dress. Ainsley and Eli danced with us a lot and had so much fun. My parents were ecstatic the whole time. The wedding was gorgeous and I couldn't have asked for a better ceremony. Now Kyle and I get to spend a week in Greece enjoying alone time along the beach.
