I turned back and strode to where the group was all grouped together. I sighed, knowing I was going to have to pitch into the conversation when I really didn't want to.

I strode over, trying to keep my distance from my father. It wasn't working though since he kept wanting to draw closer to me. The more I pulled away and tried to sit close to Logan the more Tony kept drawing toward me and I wasn't sure why.

"His name is Stryker. William Striker," Erik told us as I flicked an ear as I heard his name. "The only reason he invaded your home was for Cerebro. He wanted it or he wanted enough of it to build his own."

I tilted my head and I heard Jean butt in with her opinion. "That doesn't make any sense. Stryker would need the Professor to operate it."

I felt my heart drop. "Yes and that's why your friend is still alive," murmured Tony as he picked up a claw and examined it in front of the fire. It was close to falling off.

Storm gasped and looked at Jean. "I don't see the big deal," grumbled Logan, as blunt as ever.

"While Charles and Cerebro are connected he can enter the mind of every living being," Erik explained. "Now if he concentrated too much on a group say, mutants. He could kill us all."

I shuddered but before I could speak Storm cut in. "How would Stryker even know how to find Cerebro?"

"Because I told him," confessed Erik and I let out a snarl. Tony shot me a glare, warning me to attack so I relaxed. "I helped Charles build it I know where it is. Stryker despite his faults isn't a terrible man."

"And you know him from what good man school," I shot as him as I shoved my ears forward.

"He is a military scientist. He spent his whole life solving the mutant problem. Just ask Wolverine."

I looked to Logan. "Is there something you want to say?"

He shook his head but Erik wasn't finished. "He's the only man I know who has access to Adamantium that metal on your bones. That's his footprint."

"The Professor-"

"Thought you could figure that out on your own but he was wrong. He give you more credit that I would."

I pressed against Logan's leg to try and shield him from Erik's harsh tone.

"Why do you need us," asked Jean shortly.

"Mystique has found where Stryker plans to build the next Cerebro but we don't know where that base is. I know that one of you does," he replied and Tony nodded.

"The Professor already tried," growled Logan through gritted teeth.

"You think it's all about you," snorted Erik before he looked up. I did the same and saw Kurk and Poultice in the trees.

"Hello," Kurk murmured before he looked down and waved.
