Today is American Independence Day. Every year the city puts on a huge firework show, right near the hospital. People come from miles around just to see the show, and I have the best seat of all. Right on the balcony, where me and Jordan can see it all.
This evening, the doctors help me get out of my bed into the wheel chair, and it hurt so badly.
Jordan held my hand while they sat me in the chair, and I could of sworn his fingers turned blue for a little bit. But he didn't complain, he seemed to be happy about it.
The doctor kept saying, "You're doing great!" Or "Good job."
Personally, I think it all gets annoying.
Jordan takes me all over the hospital in my wheelchair while we wait until 8:00, when the fireworks start. We then go to the very top level of the hospital and go out onto the balcony.
"Hey, do you mind if I record is and the fireworks for a little bit as my first vlog?"
Me? In his vlog?
"Are you sure?" I ask questioningly.
"Why not? I told my fans in my last video that I had a girlfriend. Some seemed okay with it, but most want to... See you... So they can approve. I'm sure they would love you."
Can't hurt, right?
"Sure. Yeah, okay."
Jordan sets up the tri-pod and puts the camera on top. All of a sudden, we hear a loud boom.
We look up towards the sky, and the first firework had gone off. It was pretty, red, and sparkly!
"Wow... That's so pretty!" I say pointing in the sky.
"You've never REALLY been to a firework show before, have you?" He says pressing record on the camera.
"Actually, no. The only fireworks I've seen were on television."
Suddenly, he pulls out a box of what looks like skinny sticks. He sees the confusion on my face, and puts one in my hand. Then he puts a lighter up to the end on it, and the stick starts sending sparks everywhere!
"These are sparklers. Shhhh... Don't tell the hospital I have them..." He says laughing.
I half smirk, half smile back at him.
The sparkler goes from red to white to blue and back to white. Then it finally breaks off onto the ground beside my wheelchair.
The fireworks just keep going off for about 45 more minutes.
As I'm starting to move my chair backwards, Jordan grabs my arms and scoots me up back toward him.
"Wait! You're going to miss the Grand Finalie!"
I shift my eyes towards the sky, and I start to see a bunch of fireworks set off into the air.
Tons and tons of fireworks go off, sending so many different colors into the sky. As they start to fade off, a few more fireworks pop making letters. It says:
I love you!
Jordan looks over at me and smiles, and I lean over just enough to kiss him on the lips. Each kiss we have, it feels special, and feels full of electricity. Every time. I just wish I wasn't hurt as badly as I am.
After the show, Jordan wheels me back into my room. Just as he is about to leave the room to go get a doctor to help me back on my bed, I call him back to me.
"Jordan? Will you take me to go see the babies?"
He starts to laugh his cute and adorable laugh, literally almost rolling on the floor.
"What's so funny? I like to see the babies." I say, making a small pouty face.
"Alright alright, I'll take you, but not for long! You need your rest."
"Okay!" I yell excitedly.
He wheels me all the way down to the Maternity Wing of the hospital, and we go up to the Pediatric Nurse Station.
"Can you point us to where the babies are?" I ask politely.
"Down the hallway, to the left!"
We take her directions, and we pull up to this big window. I peek up, and I see TONS AND TONS of babies! Little boys, little girls, just everywhere!
"They are too cute!" Jordan says smiling at one of the little girls in front of me. "When we get older and have kids together, I want a boy. We can name him Cody!"
AWWW! He plans on having a future with me! And he even has a name for one of the kids! So freakin' adorable!
"If we ever get a girl, I want to name her Leonor. Like my mom."
He walks back over to me and puts his hand on my shoulder.
"We DEFINETLY will."
He then walks back up to the counter and leans on the glass. I see him scanning all the babies, laughing, smiling, and having a good time.
Looks like he is having a better time than me!
"Want to stop by the cafeteria on the way back and get some ice cream?"
"Awww, we're leaving the babies already? And yeah, sure!"

After we get ice cream, we go back into my hospital room and he lifts me slowly and gently onto the bed. The doctor comes in later to inspect me.
"Looks like your leg is healing great, and so is your arm. Your stomach may take more time to heal, but so far its doing good. Tomorrow we will do a CT scan and check your brain. But for now, get some good rest."
I'm not so sure I will, if the black mist comes into my sleep.
Jordan reaches for my hand, and puts his head on my arm.
I close my eyes, and finally fall asleep.
The mist doesn't visit me tonight, but it doesn't mean he won't soon.
