Sounds of swords clashing resonated through the still morning air, the fog thick and heavy that morning, like it always was in the mountains of the North Range. That's where Constance and Blaine were. Hundreds of miles north of the place the little four-year-old had used to live.

But that was what she called home now.

After all, there was nothing left of the city she'd once lived in. It was just rubble. Rubble and ruins.

"Come on, Connie." Blaine called cheerily for what must've been the thousandth time that morning as the pair of them held small swords.

They were small enough that they could've been classed as letter openers, but that didn't make them any less dangerous.

That was proven by the small scratches lining each of the children's arms, yet there were significantly more on the girl's.

It was only to be expected, though.

She was, after all, blindfolded.

"Enough you two." A familiar voice called, purple eyes met Blaine's matching ones.

"Lord Justin." Blaine bowed.

"Papa." Small arms closed around the man's knees, a wide smile on Constance's face as she felt herself lifted up onto his shoulders.

"How are you, Constance?" He strode back towards the large house that he and the other nineteen children called home. "Are the eyes I gave you feeling any better yet?" He asked, listening to her quiet responses as they wandered into the house.

It was gigantic, built on the side of a mountain, and yet it blended in perfectly with its surroundings. It was no wonder no one had found them yet.

It wasn't like anyone was expecting to find a bunch of kids and one adult living up in one of the coldest regions in the entire world.

The North Region was one of the coldest places, and as such, it was a rather bleak place to live. Not only were there the freezing winters to contend with, there were other predators living there too. Ones which could eat careless werewolves for breakfast. If that wasn't enough of a reason not to live there, then there was also the Wall.

The Great North Wall.

The one that signalled the divide between official Rogue Territory and Pack Land.

And the only Rogues that ventured into Pack Territory were the ones with very bad plans in mind. Plans that usually ended with them being sent to Blagmoor Tower... Well, only if they managed to get caught...

But that usually only happened once mischief began in the North Region.

Of course, if you were planning on becoming a Rogue, then north was the place to go.

There were laws in place.

Once you passed over, around or through the wall, then the Pack Law no longer applied. Rogues were free up north. Free to do what they liked.

Some crossed over for freedom, or simply to find themselves.

The Alphas let those ones through the North Wall Gate without fuss.

They were nice like that.

If they'd committed a crime, or were underage, though, then that was a different story all together. Those were the Rogues the Alphas hunted, and, as such, they had to get creative if they wanted to pass into Rogue Territory.
