This is something for The Dragon Prince and The Nohrian Maid. Not sure if this will be in there, or if it is, how much of it remains intact.

"Milord."
You jump up a bit and turn to see one of the ninjas - Saizo, if you remember correctly - walking besides Ryoma. Ryoma motioned for everyone to stop. Once everyone was still, Saizo continued.
"We found someone following us and captured them. What should we do with them?"
"Bring them here," Ryoma says.
Saizo nods and disappears for a second. You look around for him, and upon settling your eyes on Ryoma, Saizo reappeared with Kagero, holding a hooded figure hostage.
There's something familiar about that person, Lamia muttered. I sense... Evil. Chaos. Be careful, (Y/N).
The hooded person looked around, scanning everyone careful until their gaze landed on you. They attempted to wave at you before remembering that their hands were tied up, and instead shouted, "Hi there, (Y/N)!"
You have got to be kidding me, you hiss mentally. Why is Melody here?
Did she really follow us? Lamia asks. I don't know if I should be impressed with her stamina and stealth, or if she's an idiot and I should reprimand her.
"Do you know this Nohrian Scum?" Takumi asks angrily.
"Yes, but she isn't Nohrian," you say as get off your horse and walk up to Melody, pulling off her hood and watching as her hair falls down. You turn to Ryoma and begin to speak. "Melody is a.... Mercenary, for lack of a better term. She moves between various places, often picking up missions and odd jobs. That doesn't explain why you're here though," you say as you face her again.
She shrugs. "I heard that Leora banished you and that in despair, Cora left Nohr with you and her family. I needed to check on you guys."
You stare at her for a few seconds before she adds, "And I may have punched Leora in the face. And maybe tripped Leo."
I will admit that what she did was impressive, Lamia whispers.
"So you deemed it necessary to follow us?" You ask. "Nothing wrong with punching Leora, but you basically stalked us. Why?"
Melody's eyes darken, and you can immediately sense her tense. "I was banished as well. I don't have an allegiance with Nohr. May I join you?"
Bullsh*t, Lamia sighs. She wasn't banished, but I'm pretty sure she's supporting Hoshido.
"Alright then," Ryoma says. "Saizo, Kagero. Release her."
"No need," Melody says. She holds her hands up as the rope holding her hands hit the ground. You could only stare at her. What did she do?
"How.... How did you escape those ropes?" Saizo demands.
"Because I'm Reinh- Wait, no, you don't know who Reinhardt is. Nor Houdini.... Magic?"
"You don't even know?" Takumi yells.
"Shut up, Discount Berkut. You just don't have the same culture as I do."
"Everyone, calm down," Cori says suddenly. "It won't do us any goos if we're at each other's throats."
-----------
"(Y/N)."
You turn to the side to see Melody there, holding a book under one arm. She seems to have left her cloak in her room, as she merely appeared in casual clothing that you don't recognize. Her hair was down, and her expression was neutral.
You motion for her to sit. "Care to explain earlier? You nearly gave Saizo a heart attack."
Melody shows you the book. "The future I'm supposed to prevent? It's still going to happen, but.... It's been delayed."
"Delayed?"
Melody nods. "Yeah. Apparently, the future's been pushed back by a few months.... But it'll be more brutal. If I fulfill or oversee new conditions, then it will be averted." After a few seconds, she adds, "Lucina didn't have it this hard..."
"Who's Lucina?" You ask.
She's quiet for a second. "A friend."
----------Okay so I didn't deliver this right so I'll explain the edits
- Echo's name is switched to Melody because it's easier for me and you guys, while also keeping in with the music theme of the Lyric Province
- The Nohrians aren't vampires. It sounds cool but I kept forgetting the rules of vampires. Also by removing this, you'll get a shirtless Leo scene and perhaps a shirtless Cori scene.
- Leora would have started manipulating Leo earlier
- In The Dragon Prince, your character gets banished by Leora instead of you running away.
- Lamia is stuck in a necklace, not a pocket dimension
- Instead of picking your ending, Melody will give you an item and advice that leads to a different ending. The name at the side of a choice is who you're picking.
- Also, Melody has a magic book that lets her know what will lead to the bad ending where Leora destroys countless worlds, but it only shows information when she's near Reader-chan. So she'll follow Reader-chan around to figure out what she needs to do.
- Melody is also more secretive, and the way she escapes the ropes is a sign of that - she could very well explain what she is, but she refuses for various reasons.
- More references to other Fire Emblem games and other franchises will show up.
- Another new character will show up as an ally. Not entirely sure when he will appear exactly, but he will appear.
- Also I'm switching things around in The Nohrian Maid so that you actually bond with Leo and then Cori so that the Reader is more conflicted by the choices she makes.
- Reader-chan is going to wield a weapon. How does a lance sound, given that you know her backstory in the original story?
What do you think?
