Should I actually release this story?

Thanks goes to tiane- for reminding me that this story exists.

Anyway, back when I used to update the hell out of The Vampire's Servant before I realized that the plot was not the best, I had written a preview called Daughter of Red. It was a werewolf Takumi x Villager Reader story, and I'm wondering if I should actually work on it. I might edit the first chapter, since this was written/edited..... Way back in 2016. Damn. I might have to update it to reflect my current writing style.

In case you want to see the preview that I've written (before I end up changing it), I'll reupload it here:

Daughter of Red

"Young ladies should never go out at night," your grandmother would always tell you when you were younger. "Those who enter alone never return alive. Or at all."

You used to think that she said it because she was crazy. Lots of your friends went through the woods at night, and they were always okay. You shrugged off what she would say and move with your life. It wasn't like it was going to affect you at all.

Until the day that your best friend Lola entered the woods and disappeared into thin air.

When you heard about, you snapped. You began to look for her, traveling to all the nearby villages and asking around. Many people told you that she was likely dead, but you refused to accept it. You had to find her.... She was like your sister, and the idea of her dying alone struck fear into your heart.

It also whacked out the common sense from your brain.

Which is where you found yourself in your current predicament.

You try not to gulp as the creatures below you scratched at the tree bark, eager to reach out and attack. You could hear their growls below you.... It was unsettling. It was as if someone scratched their nails on a chalkboard, but deeper and slower. It began to grate at your nerves, but you remained still. You had to, or you would die.

Why did I stupidly decide to enter these woods alone? You ask yourself for the twentieth time.

It was then that you remembered that you had done this several times before and gotten away with it. You were never injured and it was never too dark. So naturally you assumed that you were okay.

And then you saw those glowing eyes.

These monsters were not human, but they weren't quite animal as well. They were demonic beings dragged from the depths of hell and shuffled through purgatory. Part of them oozed onto the ground, and another part dangled precariously on their shoulders. They snarled at you, angry that you escaped them by climbing the trees.

You gulp and begin to cry. This was it. You were going to die, and no one would know. You would become a cautionary tale for future children, who might not listen and suffer your fate.

"Goodbye..." You sob.

It was then you heard a wolf howl.

You whip your head behind you to see a wolf on the rocks. It had silver fur and amber eyes, as well as an interesting shaped tail. Before you could make out its tail, it howled once more and lunged itself at the monsters. Your mouth opens in shock as the monsters stumble towards the wolf, who nimbly dodges them and proceeds to bite them. As soon as one was attacked, the wolf would run off and return, striking another. Eventually, the enemies were reduced to nothing, and the wolf surveyed the area.

Before you could say or do anything, your tree branch snaps, sending you straight into the ground!

You scream as you fall, hoping that it wouldn't be painful. Midway through the drop, you felt someone grab you and roll onto the ground.

"Are you alright?" A voice asked.

You couldn't thank them for saving you, as much as you would have liked to. Much later, you would find out why and this would embarrass you for weeks to come.

That's what fainting does to one after a difficult day.
