Okay I designed this as a prompt week but I might just put them in under standalone prompts when I transfer these to Your Weekly Shipping List.
All of these came from stuff that my film or humanities professors have said that made me laugh.
--------------------
Day 1: Noisy Neighbor Sabotage AU
Character A is neighbors with Character B in the suburbs. A is tired of B's music, and goes to punch them in the face, but sees B benchpress an SUV (or something else really heavy), and decides to make their life difficult (like trampling roses, throws Legos into their yard, etc). What ends up happening? Bonus points if A and B become friends/lovers, they knew each other before and this is how their friendship works(?!?!?), one abruptly moves before the conflict is resolved, or a murder happens/they murder each other.
Day 2: I need an Ube- That's not what I meant AU
Character A hails an Uber to get someone, only to discover that an Uber Predator (Chimera, Ceberus, Monster, etc) is driving the car. What happens? Do the Predator and A become friends, or do they kill one another/one of them dies or do they just team up to cause chaos? Bonus points if something random happens, like Godzilla rampages the city, aliens attack, Predator character dies of a heart attack, etc.
Day 3: Observation Ghost AU
Character A lived a heroic tale and ended up dying from battle, old age, or getting bitten by a head they took as a trophy (that legit happened to someone). Centuries (or millennia) later, they are watching a college class discuss their tale (either as history or an epic).... And they get called an idiot because they were drunk. What do they do? Possess a student to argue? Suddenly materialize and condemn what the book says even if it was true? Just laugh? Mess with the room? Bonus points if their opponent just shows up as a ghost and they start fighting or something.
Day 4: Radioactive Iguana AU
Character A gets bitten by a Radioactive Iguana. What happens? Bonus points if instead of becoming a superhero something else random happens, like they become an iguana themselves
Day 5: The Hell is this AU
Character A is a secretary/assistant currently talking to Character B, a reporter investigating the company where A works due to a scandal of sorts. A is freaking out and is incoherent, so B goes to see Character C, the CEO of the company, am dis instantly scarred for life. What did they see? Bonus points if what A and B saw was the result of what C was doing going wrong.
Day 6: Did you really just say that? AU
Character A is walking through the woods, and they see Character B sitting there. A asks, "What are you doing here?" B looks at them and with a serious face, replies, "I'm sitting in the woods after burying my ex dead wife/husband/spouse." How does A reply? Bonus points if something completely unexpected happens, like B's spouse was a zombie, B is lying, or someone else just randomly shows up with food.
Day 7: Monster Mama AU
Character A is a monster. One day she is sitting on her couch, feeding on some poor soul that she snatched when they were asleep. Her son, character B, comes into the house late, past his curfew by several hours. His arm is torn off and he's getting blood on the floor and couch before he keels over and dies. What does she do?
Bonus points if the Hero immediately follows and she burns the Hero into a crisp, or if her son immediately comes back to life and she reminds him not to piss off legendary heroes.
--------------------
For anyone curious days 1,2,3 and 7 came from discussions from my humanities professor. (ALL WITHIN TWO WEEKS). 1 was explaining Grendel attacking Hrothgar in Beowulf, 2 was a comment about not being able to call the Chimera an Uber predator, 3 was me imagining Hrothgar getting pissed at my class for calling him drunk and 7 was explaining why Grendel's mother decided to attack Beowulf.
The other ones were comments my film teacher said - 4 was something he claimed would be the next superhero movie, 5 was a comment about the media and 6 was something about a movie.
If you use these tag me so I can read your stories.
