Jackie
Waking up this morning, I felt like I was going to pass out. I send all night taking care of Tiffany. No matter how many times I told her to let me take her to the doctor she refused and I don't understand why. She kept throwing up whatever I would give her. I had to wash all the sheets and curtains in her room because she said the nose was feeling sensitive and she hated the smell of everything. It was a rough night.
Waking up to checking to go check on her I found her still asleep. I got breakfast ready for everyone.
"Oh chocolate chip pancakes." Alexander said walking into the dining room. He takes a seat at the table and pours himself a glass of orange juice.
"Good morning." I said greeting him as I set down his plate in front of him.
"Morning." He says with a smile.
"I mean to ask you do did you have a good first day at work the other day?" I asked. standing next to me.
"It was okay. My work wasn't hard, all I do is rise the cars and wax them." He answeres cutting his pancakes. " I think Max is the one who has it bad." I looked around the room to make sure no was coming before I bend down and lean into Alexander's ear to whisper to him.
"She called me again."
Alexander turns his head in shock.
"It looks like she's going to make another move on us, so be on the lookout. And please take care of Max." I say.
"Don't worry." He says taking a bite of his eggs. I pat his back before I stand up straight again.
"So I heard Tiffany is sick." He said.
I rolled my eyes and replied "Yes, I don't know why she doesn't want to see a doctor. It sure as hell will make my life easier. You know how many times I had to change her sheets." I said letting out a sigh.
"Good Morning." Kevin says walking into the dining room.
"Morning Mr. Pow--Kevin." I said with a smile. He smiles back at me and takes his seat that the head of the table.
"Morning dad." Alexander says greeting Kevin.
"Good morning Alex. How's school lately any exams coming yet?" He asking taking a bite of his eggs.
"Yes, I have biology exam coming up. And a project for art." Alexander answeres.
"What kind of project?" Kevin asks.
"The theme is emotion. So we have to paint an emotion. The top three will be submitted to the DUMBO Arts Festival."
"Wow, that's huge." I say cutting in. "You're totally going to make it to the top three." I say with a smile. Alexander has been doing art since he was seven years old. I remember when I helped him discover his love for art.
