Max

Today is the first time in awhile the guys and I are able to have lunch together. Exams are over so we can now relax for a little bit. As we are all eating lunch Jose brings up Halloween.

"So what are we going to do for Halloween?" Jose asks.

"Oh yeah!" James said wiping his mouth with a napkin when he finishes eating. "It's almost Halloween." He says.

"Isn't this weekend?" Micky asks.

"Your right." Says Jace.

"So what's the plan?" Jose asks getting excited. "Last year James through the badest party. Whose turn is it this year?" He asks looking around the table.

"I think it's Max's turn?" James says pointing at me. Every year the guys and I take turns throwing a Halloween party. Halloween is our favorite holiday. Since we were little we would go all out. Until we were 15 we did trick or treating, but now since we are older we though parties with our friends.

"Aw man, that means it's going to be lit!" Jose says with a smile and clapping his hands. With all the drama that has been going on, I forgot about Halloween.

"Okay, I got you guys," I said agreeing with a party. All the guys get excited for what's to come this weekend and tells me if I need anything they are happy to help. After lunch, the bell rings for class. Micky and I walk to class together since are classes are next to each other.

"So how is it working with your dad?" I ask.

"It's been good. He is so happy to take me to work. But it's annoying how he always wants us to wear matching suits." He says rolling his eyes.

"What about you how have you and Alexander been doing?" He asks.

"It's okay." I answer.

"Is it hard work? I know you probably have more work than me." He says looking at me with worry. I let out a sigh and turn to look at him.

"Micky, do you like your job? do you see yourself doing this after high school?" I ask.

"Well...I haven't really thought about it since all my life my parents told me you and I will be working together." He answers.

"So if you have a choice what would you choose?" I ask.

"I think I would still be doing this job." He says. I look at him in shock.

"Really?" I say not believing he doesn't have any other dreams.

"What I respect what my father does and yours too. I like the company and I feel blessed to know once I graduate college I will already have a job waiting for me. That's not easy." He says walking ahead of me. I don't ask him any more questions as we walk to our class.
