Jackie
I am in the living room eating a bagel and watching T.V. So far everything been going well. Max invited his friends over for Christmas and we had a nice party. I was happy to see everyone again. I also meet one of Max's "girlfriends". Although Max has not told me what he thinks of the girl it's very obvious that she likes him. I didn't say anything in hopes that they both will figure it out.
For Max's Christmas gift I bought him two fishes. One of a Betta fish and the other is a Black Skirt Tetra. He was so happy. We put it in a bowl of water for know until he is able to go home and put them in his fish tank. As for Alexander, I fixed his stuff teddy bear that was missing an eye. He had that bear since I met him and I know how much the bear means to him. Although I didn't buy him anything he was very happy.
"Morning," Max said with a yawn coming downstairs.
"Good morning," I said as I flip to change the channel. Max goes into the kitchen to fix him something to eat. Soon Alexander also comes downstairs.
"Morning, Alex" I said. Alexander looks like he hasn't gotten any sleep. He has bags under his eyes.
"Alex are you okay?" I asked feeling worried.
"Oh, Yeah am fine." He quickly says and goes to the kitchen.
"Oh, sorry." I hear Alexander says. "I--I can wait"
"No, I am done anyway." I here Max says and walks out of the kitchen with a bowl of cereal. Every since Max ran out of the house during the Christmas party he and Alexander have been acting awkward towards each other. I don't know what happened but after he ran out Jace soon followed after him. I want to say they had a fight but I feel like it could be deeper than that. So far I haven't made a comment about it. I hope they work it out. Max comes to sit on the couch next to me. A few minutes later Alexander walks in with a bowl of fruit and yogurt. We all eat in silence. We are all watching Good Morning America while eating breakfast.
"Where's Suga Mama?" Max asked.
"Her and dad went out together," I answered. My siblings are still asleep.
A few hours later all my siblings come downstairs. Everyone is chilling in the living room watching T.V. I was about to change the channel again when suddenly they start talking about Kevin.
"He's actually getting married to her?" Esther says in shock as we watch him enter the church and walk down the aisle. My heart aches as he takes each step. Max was about to take the remote from me when I pulled my hand away from him.
I need to watch this. I need to know if this is really the end. I want this to be my closure. The minute he puts the ring on her then I know we are officially done and I can stop holding my breath.
