Jackie
I felt bad that I couldn't be with Max. I know he is really mad about not being able to have his Holloween party. But I just really needed this break. And I also haven't seen my family in a long time. I woke up early to make breakfast for everything and then left to go to my parent's house.
"Jackie!" My mother greeted me at the door. I smiled and gave her hug. Taking in her scent I start to relax and feel calm.
"I missed you." I say and I hold her tight. My mom pats me on the back.
"We missed you too." She says. After our hug, she lets me in the house and I greet my dad.
"Nice to see your still alive." He says as he pulls away from the hug. "A phone call couldn't hurt anyone." He says crossing his arms.
"Yeah, I know. I'm sorry, dad." I say looking down.
"Richard be nice. Our daughter is home and I will not have you ruin this beautiful reunion." My mom says. My dad rolls his eyes and takes a seat in the living room.
"So how's Max doing?" He asks. I take a seat across from him.
"He's doing well. He's been very busy with school and his afterschool clubs." I say with a smile.
"When does his season start? I would love to see him play again." My mom says taking a seat next to my dad.
"Um...I think around January." I answer. "I am sure he would love if you guys could make it to his games," I say.
"Woof, Woof." I look over to see Bobo run towards me and hops his two paws on my lap.
"Hey boy." I say with a smile as he licked my face. "Okay, Okay I missed you too." I say. I stay and catch up with my parents for a while until its noon. I found out my brother's restaurant is not far from home so I decided to go visit them. When I arrived at the restaurant It was packed full of people. It was hard to even get through the door. When I finally made it inside a waiter asked me if I had a reservation.
