I woke up to my iPhone ringing on my bedside table. I groaned and layed for a few seconds before I figured that I should probably answer.
I picked up and read the caller ID then answered with no hesitation.
"What do you want, Bailey?" My voice sounded too tired.
"Are you still coming over later? We're filming tonight." Grayson said. "Good afternoon by the way."
"Good afternoon?" I looked up at my clock on the wall and saw it was almost one pm. I have never slept this late before. "Oh shit. Uhm, yeah I'm still coming. Why would you think I would change my mind?" I stood up and started to make my bed.
"Because of the LA thing..."
"Grayson, I'm trying to spend as much time with you as I can, so that would be really stupid to cancel. I'm not mad at you, you know that, right?"
"Thank goodness. I'm sorry. But see you later, Tammers. I miss you." I smiled to myself.
"I'm getting dressed now, I'll be over in a half hour, okay? Stop missing me, you clown." I chuckled as I walked over to my closet.
"Okay good, the sooner the better. Bye, Tam."
"Bye, Bailey Dolan." I ended the call and opened my closet.
I took out a dusty rose t-shirt, with the word 'cute' on the left side, a light washed jean short and my handy high top converse. For my make up I just put on some mascara, foundation and highlighter on my cheeks and nose.
I brushed my straight hair and decided to just leave it down and headed to the kitchen where my mom and dad were talking about the whole Trump Presidency.
"It's absolutely ridiculous, really. I thought more people liked Hillary better." my mom said.
"I guess we all were wrong." I said as I entered the room and the took an apple.
"Well good morning. How was last night?" My dad smiled.
"I should be asking you that question." I took a bite out my apple.
"It was very nice. Good to go out every once and a while." My mom answered. "And how was the night with Grayson?"
"Good. Until he and Ethan dropped a huge bomb on me." My mood dropped a bit when I thought of it.
"Why? What happened?"
"They're moving to Los Angeles. Tomorrow."
"I see they finally told you." She said.
"What, you knew?" I asked surprised.
"Lisa told me a few days ago."
"I don't know what to do, Mom. They're my best friends, and I'm really starting to like Grayson. Like a lot. And me and Sydney aren't friends anymore, I'll explain later. I practically have no one now, Ma." I said frustrated.
"Lisa called me this morning and we talked about what happened last night with Sydney. I'm so sorry, honey." She pulled me into a hug. "And we also talked about the Los Angeles situation. She has a plan for you but I don't know what it is yet. She said she just has to do a few things first before she tells us. And you're not allowed to talk to the twins about the plan."
I pulled away and nodded. "Well, I should be heading over there right now. Spending some time together before they leave. Can I take your scooter?"
She nodded. "Just be careful."
"I will." I threw my apple away. "Bye."
I waved as I grabbed the keys to my mom's mint green vespa. I was totally and utterly in love with it. It was the one thing I truly wanted. I've wanted the exact same one since I was nine, and on my mom's birthday last year, she got one from dad. Let's just say I was a little too excited about it.
