GRAYSON'S POV

Me, Ethan, Alex and Nate entered the apartment about an half hour after the whole beach fiasco.

Lina was sitting on the balcony eating a small tub of ice cream.

"Hey Lins." Ethan exclaimed walking over to her and started talking to her.

"Where is she?" I mumbled to myself as I scanned the apartment. My eyes fell on Ethan's bedroom door. It was closed so she was probably inside. Then my eyes fell on the heap of hoodies and joggers laying in front of it.

Great.

"Uhm, Lina?" I said walking to the balcony where she and Ethan stood talking.

"Hey, Gray. You okay? Look I know now that you're not the villain here. You were only trying to help her." She said walking over to me.

"No I'm not okay." I sighed and scratched my head. "Is she in Ethan's room?"

"Yeah, but she locked it. And plus, do you think it's a good idea to go talk to her right now?" She said, continuing to eat her ice cream.

"I'm not apologizing or anything, because I'm not the one to apologize. I just want to soften the blow." I said. "Don't you have a spare key, E?"

"Nope. Lost mine on the first day here, remember?" Ethan chuckled.

"It's fine. I'll just talk to her through the door." I said and went back inside.

Alex and Nate were on the couch, starting up a video game when I walked pass them.

I came up to the bedroom door, stepping over the pile of clothes and held up my fist, hesitating to knock on the door, but then I gave a few soft knocks eventually.

"Tams? Can we talk? Please?" I said looking down at my feet.

No answer.

"Look, I'm not here to apologize because it's not my place to. I was trying to help you by getting Neels out of your life, but it got a little out of hand and now I seem like the bad guy."

I heard moving inside the room before a reply. "You are the bad guy, Grayson. Think how he must feel about you talking about him like that. Think about how I feel right now. My boyfriend just yelled at me in front of all of my friends. I'm hurt."

"Listen, Neels doesn't give a shit about what I say about him. He never does and never has. He has just too much of an ego to care." I stated and leaned on my arm against the door.

"He's a good person, Grayson! Get that in your head!"

"No, Tammy, he's not. He's just putting up an act and acting like he cares because he wants to get on your good side. And then in your pants."

"He would never. Gosh you're just jealous, because I'm talking to him a lot more than you now."

"Exactly, Tammy! And do you know how much that freaking hurts? Your girlfriend talking to another guy about her problems other than her boyfriend. How would you feel if I was talking to a girl and talking about my problems with her other than you? Like shit. I know the feeling." I said.

She went quiet for a moment, but then replied. "For all I know you're already doing that. Or worse. Keeping yourself busy with another girl when you're not with me. You didn't tell me anything about you not liking Neels or you being a jealous shit."

My heart dropped.

Why would she ever think that?

"Do you really expect me to do that to you? I love you so so so so much. I would never do anything like that to hurt you. I'm deeply hurt that you'd expect so low of me, Tammy."
