"I don't want to go to school, Ma." I said the next morning, sitting in the kitchen eating my cereal.
"You have to. You have lacrosse today." my mom said washing the previous night's dishes.
"Not just today, Ma, I want to leave school. Maybe I can do homeschooling with the twins." I said taking a bite of my cereal.
"Tammy, you can't just quit school like that." she turned around and placed one hand on her hip. "What about lacrosse? The reason you went to that school was for lacrosse."
"I found out that some people are aloud to join the team even if they weren't in the school. You just have to find out by Coach Rhenolds if you can do it or not."
She sighed. "I don't know, Tammy."
"Please, Mom. I have literally zero friends at that school right now." I begged.
"I'll talk to your father, but go and find out by Coach Rhenolds if you can stay in the team if you leave." She gave in and I threw my fist up in victory.
"Thank you, Ma." I hugged her and ran to my room to get ready.

I knocked on the door of Coach Rhenolds' office and heard a 'Come in.' so I did.
"Hey, Coach." I smiled, closing the door.
"Tammy! My girl! How can I help you?" she smiled. I see she's as energetic as always.
"There's a chance that I may be leaving the school, and I was wondering if I would still be able to be on the team." I sat down in the chair in front of her desk.
"Well I'm sorry to hear that you are leaving, Tammy. But yes, I would still love to have you on the team. You are one of the best players in it." She smiled.
I smiled. "Thank you so much, Coach. I would be kicking myself so hard if I couldn't play anymore."
She chuckled. "As long as you're still in the team, we're all happy."
"Thank you again, Coach." I got up and walked out of the office.
Since I have no friends, I went to Coach's office in lunch, and there was about ten minutes left of it.
I pulled out my phone and sent Grayson a Text.
Bailey Dolan 🙄♥️
Me: Heyy bailey, facetime? Lonely 😕
As I waited for the reply I walked to the bleachers. Alone. It was the weirdest feeling. A weird feeling I haven't gotten used to yet.
When I reached the bleachers, I sat down and looked around me.
"This feels so unnatural." I mumbled to myself.
I pulled out my phone again to see if he replied, but he didn't. I sighed and took out my lunch, even though I wasn't so hungry. I took one bite out of my sandwich and put it back into my lunch bag, not wanting more.
A few minutes later, the bell rang so I got up and walked back to the school building. But when I turned the corner I bumped into someone. Sydney.
"Tammy." She said.
"Get out of my way, Sydney." I said pushing her aside.
"I'm sorry, Tammy. I'm so freaking sorry." She trembled behind me as I walked away.
"Sorry never solves anything. Especially something this big."
"Tammy, I'm sorry for what I did to our friendship, I--" I cut her off, turning around.
