TAMMY'S POV
As I waited for Neels to pick up the phone, I kept replaying the scene that just happened over and over in my head. I felt like shit.
Did I do something wrong that I didn't know about?
Is he upset with me?
No, Tammy. You did absolutely nothing wrong, it's him that's being a pain in the ass.
"Tammy? Didn't think you'd call so soon." Neels answered the phone, chuckling.
I smiled. "I just need someone to talk to right now. I have a problem."
"Don't you have your boyfriend for that?"
"My boyfriend is the problem." I sighed.
"What happened? You don't have to tell me if you don't want to." Neels said.
He's so sweet.
"I want to tell you. That's why I called."
"Okay great." I could hear him smiling in his tone. "What happened?"
So I told him everything that happened earlier at the hike where everything was perfect and just suddenly it wasn't and then our argument that happened moments ago.
"So he's pissed at you for no reason?"
"Well, I thought maybe I did something to upset him without me knowing, but then I thought about it and I did absolutely nothing. So basically, yeah." I said rolling my eyes.
"Nice one, Dolan. Real nice." He said with an annoyed tone. "So what are you gonna do?"
"I don't know. I'll just have to see what happens." I said as I shrugged.
"Well, let me know what happens, okay?"
"Okay." I smiled. "Thank you for listening to me complain for an half hour."
"Hey, it's no problem. I like talking to you."
"Me too." I smiled again.
"So when do I see you again?"
"Well, we're just gonna be at the apartment for the rest of the week. Because of the rain. But we're actually going to the beach next week for the twins' birthday. And don't worry, I checked the weather, it's actually not gonna be so cold, just bring a hoodie in case." I chuckled. "Would you like to come with us?"
"Yeah sure. I would love to come. The twins are some of my best friends."
"Okay that's great." I smiled.
Suddenly there was a soft knock on my door. My back was facing the door so I turned my head backwards to see Grayson peeking into the room, only with his head visible while the rest of his body was still hidden behind the door.
"He's here now. Thanks again. Bye." I ended the call and looked back at him. With a face of disappointment.
He gave me a soft closed mouth smile, standing at the same position.
Gosh.
I may still be angry with him, but he sure knows how to give me butterflies.
"Stop smiling like that at me. You're making it hard to be mad at you." I said taking a pillow and placed it on my lap. A habit I have.
"Sorry." He kept smiling.
No.
Stop, Tammy.
Don't smile.
