"I think this looks good?" I stood indecisively infront of my mirror in my bedroom. I am wearing my wolf pack hoodie again, light washed distressed shorts and holographic adidas superstars.

"It's just a game, Tam. You look fine." Sydney said sitting on my bed, braiding her hair into two dutch braids. She was wearing one of Ethan's jerseys with high waisted dark blue jeans and converse.

"It's the homecoming game. The most important football game of the year." I looked over at her, "And you look hot in a football jersey." I said smirking at her.

"Thank you, bitch." She smiled. "Let's curl your hair. You're not too happy about your outfit, so let's spice it up with some loose waves." She said standing up and taking my hair curler out of my drawer.

"A few curls could do." I chuckled as she plugged in my curler and started to twirl my hair around the wand.

About an half hour later, we finished and I sprayed my hair with some hairspray to hold the curl.

"Shit, it's five forty five. The game starts in fifteen minutes. Let's go." Sydney said grabbing her backpack and left my room.

I quickly took my phone off of charge and ran to my front door. I locked the door behind me and met Sydney and my mom in the car and drove off.

"I can't believe it's the last football game we get to see them play." I said as I fidgeted with my phone to keep my fingers busy.

"Me neither." Sydney said softly. "Thank you, Tammy."

"For what?" I asked, looking back at her in the backseat.

"For meeting Grayson. Without that happening, I would've never made some of the best friends in my life, and I wouldn't have been dating my dream boy." She smiled.

"You should thank Gray. He's the one who complimented my lacrosse stick." We chuckled.

"Still. You could've gone all 'Savage Tammy Mode' like you do with new people sometimes. Though he probably would've still talked to you." She laughed, "Ugh, I'm gonna miss this riding to games."

"Me too." I mumbled.

It was quiet for the rest of the car ride, but as soon as we got to the school we started talking again.

"Oh my lord, Ma. There's almost no parking space." I said sitting up and tried to took for an open parking.

"I'll just drop you here quickly. Get out girls! Enjoy the last football game! I love you stay safe."

"Love you too, Ma." We quickly got out of the car and waved after her.

"Let's try and find the boys to wish them good luck. The game starts in five." Sydney said running into the gate with her hand holding my arm tightly.

I nodded as we ran towards the boys' locker room and waited outside.

GRAYSON'S POV

As coach took us through the game plan, I kept looking down at one of my football jerseys I was holding. Gripping it tighter and tighter as time went by.

"Okay," coach looked at his watch, "we have two minutes before we head out. Do something to keep you all hyped up! I don't want to see more sleeping beauties on our most important game."

Everyone stood up from the benches and started to hype each other up, but I just sat there, staring at the jersey with my helmet next to me on the bench.

"Bro, stop being nervous. It'll be fine. I know she would wear it for you." I looked up to Ethan standing infront of me, holding his helmet.

"You think so?"

"I know so. They're probably outside the door right now waiting, like usual." He said sitting beside me.

"The last good lucks for a football game. Damn I'm gonna miss it." I said running one of my hands through my hair.

"At least we still have our last lacrosse game Saturday." He said.

I nodded and Tammy's face popped back into my mind. Lacrosse was how we met. I couldn't help but smile.

"Gray, are you actually smiling about the last lacrosse game? Wow, I thought you were sad about our sports ending. Especially lacrosse." Ethan said jokingly.

"I am, bro. You know I am. But I'm smiling for something else." I gave a small shy smile again and looked down to the jersey.

"Oh my gosh. You got it bad bro." Ethan playfully punched my arm and I chuckled.

"She's so..... I don't know. She's so Tammy. But I don't know how she feels. The keeps talking about 'just friends' and talking about what a good friend I am, so it confuses me."

"You also do it, bro." Ethan laughed. "But I know things you don't, and I promise it's nothing to stress about." Ethan stood up, winked at me and walked over to therest of the team who was getting ready to leave the locker room.

"Bro you can't leave me hanging like that! Tell me." I chuckled, walked to him and hit him on the arm.

He just 'zipped' his mouth closed and 'threw away the key'. I just chuckled and found myself becoming nervous all over again. Talking about Tammy seemed to calm my nerves for the game, but she always manages to give me butterflies when I see her.

TAMMY'S POV

The door slammed open and about a dozen guys ran out of the locker room. Grayson and Ethan were at the very back, and Grayson had something in his hand.

"Good luck, guys. Enjoy it." I smiled and hugged them.

"Thanks, Tam." Ethan said and looked over to Sydney. "Come with me real quick." He said and they walked away.

I stood there confused, "What the heck? Eeteeweetee come back, you dumbass!"

Grayson chuckled and I turned to him smiling.

"What now? What's happening, Bailey?" I laughed.

"I wanted to give you this." He handed me his white and blue football jersey with the number '47' on it.

"Grayson?" I said confused, taking the jersey and looked at it.

"Tammy, I know you're my best friend and all, so I really want you to wear my jersey. You know, to show you support me?" He scratched the back of his head sheepishly.

I smiled and pulled him into a hug. "Of course I will. I'd do anything to support my best friend." I pulled away and our eyes met again.

Then I did the unthinkable, something I wouldn't usually do. I kissed him on the cheek.

I quickly removed my lips from his cheek as I realized what I have done. I could feel myself blush.

He chuckled shyly and started to blush a little.

"Dolan! Field! Now!" Coach Dirk shouted from the stands.

"Yes, Coach!" Grayson yelled back at him. "See you." He said and jogged to the rest of his team.

I smiled to myself, thinking about what just happened and looked down at the white jersey.

Why does this boy affect me so much? And why do I get the feeling that I affect him too...
