Chapter 12- Research

I woke up at 8 and started to get ready so I can head to Jason's house at 10.

I grab a pair of skinny jeans and a white tank top I then but on my white vans. I decide to brush my hair and put it in a pony tail.

I head down stairs and eat some cereal. I then hear Amy coming.

"Good morning Blare."

"Good morning mom."

"So where are you going today." Amy says to me

"Um I am going down to Jason's house to do some research."

"About what?" she question

"Is dad died by trying to save this girl getting kidnapped so we want to see if we can track down this girl or her parents."

"Oh well I hope you have fun."

"Ok bye." I say leaving.

I jump in my car and start to drive to Jason's house. I get there and I hop out of the car when I get to his door I ring and not even a minute later he answers.

"Hey Blare ready to get are research on."

I laugh and say "let's do this."

"Have I ever told you, you have the cutest laugh." Jason says

I start to blush like crazy. Jason laughs and kisses me on the cheek.

"Do you want to meet my mom."

"Sure." I say smiling

"MOM I HAVE SOMEONE I WANT YOU TO MEET!" Jason screams

Then I hear foot steps coming are way

"Who is it Jason and no need to scream." The lady I guess who is Jason's mom says

"Sorry but this is Blare my girlfriend." Jason says pointing to me

"Oh so this is the famous Blare, Jason talks about you all the time."

I blush and say "yes it is."

Jason's mom laughs and says "nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too."

"Well mom we are going go up stairs to do some research." Jason says to his mom

"Ok just not to much PDA." Jason's mom says.

I laugh but Jason says "MOM!"

"I'm just playing with you guys."

"Ok mom bye." Jason says while pulling me outside.

I laugh and say "your mom is so nice and funny."

"Ok" Jason says in a sarcastic way

"So I was thinking we can go to the library cause I know the have news papers in there so maybe they might just have the article about my dad." Jason states

"Sounds great so your car or mine."

"We can go in mine." Jason says

We walk to his car and when we get there he opens up the door for the passengers side for me.

"Quite the gentlemen are we now." I say

He laughs and we start to drive to the library.

"Hey I found it." I say holding up the newspaper about Jason's dad.

"Ok read it." Jason says

I start to read it when Jason went to go look for something else. when I finish I realize it's just the same story Jason told me but in mores details.

"Look what I found.!" Jason says in a whisper shout cause were in the library.

"What." I say

"It's a article about the president and his daughter going missing about the same time as the other girl."

"Wow what a coincidence." I say really amazed

"I know right." Jason says

"What does the article say."

"Nothing much just that the presidents daughter who was 12 went missing." Jason states

"Oh." I say

"Hey Jason don't you think it's weird that I can't remember anything 12 and under."

He looks up from the newspaper "yeah that is strange. did u ever ask Amy?"

"Yeah but she acted weird and then told me she didn't know."

"Ok something is really weird here 2 girls missing like at the same time who were 12 and you who can't remember anything under the age of 12 some is really weird here." Jason says while looking a little into the distance.

"Yeah your right maybe we can ask your mom." I say

"Ok let's go."

I quickly snap I picture of both articles and me and Jason start to head back to his house.

As we drive I can't stop thinking about how weird this all is.
