The Sibling's Battle

Chapter 17

I come back to reality in the same spot I zone out, except now everyone's staring at me.

"What happened?" I ask

"You tell us" says Luke stepping out of the crowd.

"Well, I saw Circe talking to someone in a room. I didn't see who. I think... I think they were talking about... Me." I say "Now what did I do?"

"Well we were standing here, until Rachel's eyes turned green and walked over to you. Your eyes were green too. You two started having a conversation, but not your voices." says Annabeth.

"Rachel passed out after but you blinked and your eyes were back to normal. And here we are now." says Piper

Chiron starts to talk "I know it has been a very eventful night, but there is still a curfew which is in ten minutes. I would get back to your cabins."

Not wanting to talk to anyone I quickly start heading to cabin 3, bit being on crutches doesn't allow you to move very fast. Percy quickly catches up to me

"Whoa speedy what's with you?" he asks

"Look Percy i'm not in the mood to talk right now, mostly because I don't know what's been going on tonight."

"I know it's been a little crazy..."

"You have no idea!" I yell. I keep going and Percy stops in his tracks. I go all the way to the cabin. When I get to my bed, I plop down and try to fall asleep in my clothes which smell like smoke. It reminds me of Leo. Oh no Leo. I never asked him how the talk with my dad went. 'I can do that in the morning' I tell myself. Before I know it I've fallen asleep.

I dream of monsters. Thousands upon thousands of monsters looking to start a battle. Then I hear someone speaking but it is pitch black from where the voice is coming from. "Do whatever it takes. FIND HER! Do whatever it takes to bring her to us. I want her alive." then the monsters start heading off. Then I wake up. It looks about one o'clock in the morning. I try to all asleep again for the next hour and a half. Eventually I get up and walk out the door, without my crutches. I end up going to the Hephaestus cabin. I wake up Leo who was hugging a stuffed bear. "What's going on?" he asks sitting up

"Shh Leo you'll wake everyone up." I whisper "I'm sorry to wake you but I couldn't sleep, and I didn't know what to do."

"Why don't we go somewhere where I won't get killed for walking up anyone up."

"The woods are nice."

"Yes I hear the woods is nice this time of day."

We quietly walk out of the cabin and head for the woods. We walk to a spot near the creek. Leo goes and sits down and leans up against the tree. I sit down next to him and lean my head on his chest. "So was Percy snoring to loud?"

I laugh "No. It was... My dreams. I... I think they're coming to get me. I'm not safe."

"As long as we're together i'm not going to let anything happen to you"

I think about that for a long time. I listen to the heartbeat of Leo. I find myself drifting off to sleep.

I wake up with an oversized sweatshirt on with the sun shining on my face. Leo is still sleeping. "Leo" I say poking him in the shoulder.

"You're waking me up again." he whines.

"Sorry Leo. I didn't want to leave you alone, and if I don't get back soon and Percy's awake...."

"Alright I got it." says Leo getting up. He helps me up and then we go back to the cabins. Not many people are up, but in a few cabins I can see a couple of people getting ready. Leo goes to the Hephaestus cabin while I hobble to the Poseidon cabin. It doesn't look like anyone's awake. I quietly open the door, and tip toe as silently as I can with a boot on my foot to my bed. Percy looks sound asleep on his bed
