"THAT CAN'T BE! UNCLE DIED BECAUSE OF AN ACCIDENT...!" Yona exclaimed.
"That's what it looked like on the surface, huh? But my father died by being stabbed with a sword by emperor Il... do you understand?" He looked her directly in the eyes. "Emperor Il, who was supposed to hate weapons and evaded strife... killed my father with a sword. Princess Yona...that is why... I have lived for this day... for ten years" he gave a deathly stare.
"I have avenged my father, and as the one who inherited my father's dying wish, I... will become this nation's king" he finally finished his speech.
'Does this guy not know when to shut up?'
"I didn't expect you to be awake this late at night. I heard very few are allowed to come into his majesty's room. So why... did you come? Princess Yona" he asked suspiciously.
"I wanted... to tell him... I... can't forget about Soo-Won. I wanted... to tell... father that-" she was cut off by someone barging in.

Y/N POV (Wolf Form)
"LORD SOO-WON!! We have everything prepared!" An annoying loud man shouted.
'Seriously, my poor ears, having heightened senses isn't always an advantage'
He then looked at the scene before him and began, "Oh... this is..." before a sinister looking guy finished his sentence,
"The king... so you've achieved your long cherished wish, huh?" He then noticed Yona in the room. "Hm? Lord Soo-Won, this girl... is she princess Yona? Could it be... that the princess saw?"
He had a cold look in his eyes as he continued to say, "Well then... we can save an explanation. Kill her, Lord Soo-Won. Shut the princess' mouth." I growl lowly at his suggestion.
'I'm gonna kill this guy if he goes anywhere near Yona'
"Even if she continues to live on... she will only suffer right?" He said, completely ignoring me.
'The nerve of this guy. I'm gonna rip him to shreds!'
"Soo-Won" I hear Yona say in disbelief and he gets his sword ready.
'Oh no you don't Goldy Locks' I give him a wolf-ish smirk as I launch myself at him, teeth on full display.
I pin him down momentarily and turn my head back towards Yona, giving her a look that says 'RUN'.
That's all she needed as she sprints out of the doors to escape.
'Now that she's out of harms way for now, I can take on this guy with no worries' I think before I am suddenly thrown into the wall. I yelp as a wave of pain hits me.
