(A/N: Decided to finish this rather than do revision 😂 so here's chapter 11. Again, I'm sorry it's late.)

Previously on The Wolf Shifter's Love:

I turn my attention to Yona who's attempting to move Hak and failing miserably. I walk over to her and lay next to the unconscious Hak. I gesture with my head to put him on my back. Kija then effortlessly lifts him onto my back, after noticing Yona's struggle.

"You're amazing Kija!" She exclaims.

I growl slightly 'I'm doing most of the work!'

She giggles, "you too (W/N)"

I let out a snort of annoyance and begin to follow the Pretty Boy. As I walk, Yona is glued to my side in worry for Hak.

"This man will be alright" Kija says.

"Yes... Hak is a strong person. Right now he can protect me, but someday I want to protect him" she says.

"Princess, even though you have always been within the castle... you are strong" Kija replies.

"I'm nowhere near strong" Yona says.

'Tch, you got that right'

"But you were not alarmed by the bandits" Kija counters.

"Right... bandits aren't scary. To me, nothing is more frightening than what happened that night"
She says and I growl at the mention of that night, frightening Kija slightly.

"Oh, Yoon is calling. Let's go" she shouts cheerily.

"Yes!" Kija replies.

'Hallelujah I know Pretty Boy's name, finally' I think as I follow the two to Yoon.

Y/N POV

After walking for a short time, we found a safe area in the forest to set up camp and start dinner. I walk towards a tree close to the camp fire and slide Hak off my back gently as I lay down, resulting in him being propped up against my body. I look towards the others to see Yoon giving portions of food to Yona and Kija.

"What is this?" Kija asks with a look of distaste.

"It's dinner. What else?" Yoon replies flatly.

"Dinner? These are weeds that were growing alongside the mountain trail from earlier, are they not?" Kija questions.

"They're not weeds! I told you they're mountain vegetables that you can eat! Just be grateful I didn't put bugs in it!" Yoon replies defensively.

"Bugs?! You cook bugs?!" Kija exclaims.

"Bugs are nutritious." Yoon says as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.
