"I'm sorry. We were traveling to find someone, but it seems he wasn't here. But we are tired from our journey and we have an injured person. Will it be okay if we rest here for a little bit?" Yona gestures to Hak.
'Real smooth Yona'
"That must have been difficult. As you can see, we are a poor village. So we cannot provide special treatment." The man says.
"We don't mind. Thank you" she says. "What are those masks for?"
"It is a custom. Those who are unmarried do not show their faces in front of others often" He replies.
"That's interesting" Yona says in wonder.
"It is probably an astonishing thing from your point of view. Oh, and my guest... it is like a maze when you enter this place. Do not wander very far. It is not our responsibility if something happens" he says darkly.
'Well I know what I'm doing later' I think, with a barely noticeable smirk.

Y/N POV
The group and I are currently in a small area that the village chief allowed us to stay in, discussing what to do next. Only I'm having a hard time paying attention, due to a strange need to leave the room. I have a mental battle with myself before giving in and heading to the exit silently. I successfully escape unnoticed by the group, at least I thought I did.
Kija's POV
I notice (Y/N) sneak out of the room from the corner of my eye. Smirking to myself, I carry on talking as if I never noticed.
Y/N POV
I make my way through the maze of tunnels, eventually reaching a dead end. I scrutinised the wall in front of me in annoyance. I break from my glare when I hear a small squeak.
'Was that on the other side of the wall?'
I remove my hood and use my heightened hearing to listen, as I felt around the wall. I feel a suspiciously straight crack in the wall, analysing it more closely. I slightly press the area and hear a click as the wall suddenly slides open, revealing a secret passage way.
"Oh, how clichè. What's next? I get attack by a mysterious person and then get saved by a prince? Ha, yeah right" I say to no one in particular.
I hear another squeak. I look down to see a squirrel? I quickly check to see if anyone is watching, before showing a side to me that is reserved for the animal kingdom only.
"Hey there cutie. What are you doing down here?" I ask the bundle of fluff.
"Pkyuu!" It replies, as a giggle slightly.
Suddenly, I am shrouded in darkness as the torches are blown out. The squirrel quickly runs off, as I stand and return to my stoic expression.
"Who's there?" I ask into the darkness.
"You're far from your friends aren't you? Would you like me to show you the way back?" A man asks creepily.
"No, I'll be fine" I reply bluntly.
"You're not like the rest of us" he says.
"..."
"Those ears and that tail...you're not even human" he continues.
"I suggest you leave before you regret it" I say threateningly.
"I just want a little fun" he smirks, stepping towards me.
"Back off" I say, flashing my (W/E/C) wolf eyes as a warning.
He doesn't take the warning, in fact it seems to excite him. In one swift movement, he grabs my wrist and pulls me towards him. I twist out of his hold and swing my leg, successfully kicking him in the back. He falls to the ground, but before I can go for the knock out, he quickly turns and grabs my tail. I whimper as pain shoots through my body.
'Why did he go for the tail of all places?!'
I begin to fall as the pain takes over. I brace myself for the impact on the cold, hard ground, but it never came. I then realise the pain has ceased and the man no longer holds my tail. I noticed the guy running away in fear and I then realise I'm being held by someone. I looks up to see a masked man holding me bridle style, with what I presume to be a concerned look. I stare up at him in slight awe and instantly feel a connection with the guy.
"Are you... ok?" He asks me with his melodic voice.
'Did I just say his voice was melodic?'
My heart skips a beat as I just stare.
'Who is this guy?' I think to myself.
He tilts his head cutely, as I realise I haven't answered him yet.
'Cutely? What's wrong with me?!'
"Y-yes. Thank you" I reply.
'Did I just stutter? What the hell?!'
"Good" he says with a smile.
He then starts walking with me still in his arms.
"W-where are you taking me?" I ask.
'Damn it (Y/N), pull yourself together!'
He doesn't answer, as he continues walking. We then round a corner where I see the group looking for something. They all turn in our direction.
"(Y/N)! There you are!" Yona exclaims.
"We've been looking everywhere for you, idiot!" Yoon shouts.
"Who's that carrying you" Hak adds teasingly, with Kija smirking beside him.
I feel heat rise to my face, as realisation hits me. I'm still in his arms. I jump from his arms in embarrassment, feeling sad from losing his warmth.
'Why am I sad?'
I shrug it off and glare at Hak. Kija then turns to the man who was previously holding me.
"You are-"
Before he can finish, the guy darts off into the maze of passage ways.
I can't help but feel sad again.
"What was that about?" Yoon asks.
"It's him. That person is Seiryuu" Kija replies.
