(A/N: I'm back! I'm so sorry for the long wait. I just didn't know how to go about this chapter, but I managed and here it it. I hope you enjoy)

"What can you do?"
"I... what I can do is..." Yona proceeds to go into deep thought.
"Nothing, huh? If you can't help, then you'll just be in the way here" Gi-gan says.
"I-"
"Plenty of people loath Kum-ji. But if you take him on without the strength to back it up, you'll get yourself killed. A wisp of a thing like you isn't up to this. Go home" Gi-gan concludes.
"If she's not with us, then we're-"
"Kija. It's fine. Captain Gi-gan is right. But there are reasons I can't leave!" I see Gi-gan smirk slightly.
"All right, then. To see if you're useful and whether I can trust you, I have a task for you. One that's very risky" she says.

Y/N POV
"A risky task?" Yona questions.
"Yep. Right now, you're nothing but dead weight. If you want to fight Kum-ji with us, you'd better show me that you're up to it" Gi-gan replies.
"Up to it... alright. What do I have to do?" She asks.
"I want you to pick some Senju herbs" Gi-gan requests.
There are a series of gasps throughout the crew members.
'Something tells me this isn't as simple as it sounds'
"Captain, don't you think that's a little-"
"Don't interrupt me" Gi-gan cuts off a member of her crew. "The Senju herb grows on the Vanishing Cape. It's medicinal. It cuts recovery time from injuries or illness down to a third of what it would be otherwise"
"A third?! I've never heard of that herb before!" Yoon exclaims in what can only be excitement.
"It's very rare, and it's only found on the Vanishing Cape in the Kingdom of Kohka. Few people know about it, even in Awa. Since so little of it grows, we can't harvest it all. And Kum-ji mustn't ever learn about it. He'd probably try and sell it for a massive profit. The herb will help us heal our wounded quickly. Having it for the upcoming battle is crucial. The person who usually picks it happens to be injured right now. If you perform his task, you'll earn my approval" Gi-gan explains.
"All right" Yona accepts.
"Oh, I forgot to mention. The Senju herb grows along the edge of a steep cliff. I want you to get it alone, without anyones help" she concludes.
"What?! That's what you want her to do?! Yona, that's crazy!" Yoon shouts.
"Yoon, please. This is my task" Yona says.
"No" I interrupt.
"(Y/N)?" She looks at me confused.
"You're not going. I made a promise to protect you, I'm not letting you die over some meaningless plant" I say with a serious expression.
"It's not meaningless! This herb can help people, and if that means putting myself in danger, then that's what I'm going to do!" She yells angrily at me. I stare at her, unfazed.
"Don't use that tone with me" I say calmly.
"I can and I will! I am your master (Y/N), you can't order me around like this! It's my decision and I'm sticking with it, you can't go against it" She retaliates.
"Oh? So I'm just supposed to obey your every order like a loyal dog, am I?" I question darkly.
"That's not what I-"
"It's exactly what you meant. You'll do well to remember that I am nothing like your loyal Dragons and I am certainly no dog. The Sacred Bond in not powerful enough to have me answer to your every beck and call, you know this. If you choose to ignore my words then fine, do as you please, but don't expect me to come and save you when this little mission goes south" I say in a dangerous tone, walking away.
"(Y/N), wait-"
"Save it! You've said enough" I cut her off.
Once I'm away from the scene, I shift to relieve the anger I'm holding in and watch from the shadows.
"That's a good attitude. Jae-ha, show her where it is" Gi-gan praises Yona's stubborn determination.
"Fine, fine" Jae-ha replies lazily.
"Well... I'm going out for a bit. I'll be back soon!" Yona tells the others with a forced smile, walking away.
"Should we let her go?" Yoon questions.
"We can still stop her..." Kija says.
"Good luck with that. When she gets that look, there's no stopping her. You saw how she spoke to (Y/N), her mind is made up. If (Y/N) can't do it, no one can" Hak informs.
"The way she spoke to (Y/N), it's not like her" Yoon adds.
"That was her mistake and the look on her face tells me she knew that. I'm sure she'll apologise when she gets back" Hak says, giving me a side glance.
"I hope so..." Kija says sadly.
"Shin-ah, you better go calm her down. I could see how hard it was for her not to snap at Yona. And you guys haven't had much alone time in awhile, right?" He says with a wink towards Shin-ah.
Shin-ah's face gains a tint of red, as he nods and heads in my direction.
