Previously on The Wolf Shifter's Love:

I wake up in shock, tears running down my face.

'That was too real to be a dream'

I look around at my location, 'I'm not in the Blue Dragon's village?'

My eyes land on the group, they're staring at me.

"(Y/N)... are you ok?" Yona asks with concern. I realise I still have tears running down my face.

I quickly wipe them away and return to my stoic expression.

"I'm fine" I simply reply.

"Doesn't seem like it" Hak states rather bluntly.

"I said I'm fine!" I say raising my voice slightly.

I stand up from my spot and walk into the forest to think. Thankfully my enhanced healing means I'm almost 100% recovered.

What I didn't notice was the lingering gaze of a certain blue haired dragon.

Y/N POV

After walking for a few minutes, I find a beautiful waterfall. I sit at the edge gazing into the water.

"What was that dream? A memory perhaps, but why would I forget an important memory like that?" I say quietly to my self.

"If that truly was a memory, then that means my parents are likely to be dead, along with the rest of my species. And that Leopard Shifter must still be out there somewhere."

"What if she's looking for me, she said she wanted to eradicate the species. There's no way she didn't see me in my mother's arms and I doubt she'd give up so easily. Now that I'm outside of the castle, I should keep an eye out. I don't want the group getting caught up in my past, no matter how annoying they are." I say, filled with determination.

Just as I finish voicing my thoughts, I hear the bushes behind me shake. I stand ready to attack, whoever it is gets closer and closer until out of the bushes appears... the Blue Dragon?

He looks at me with his head tilted cutely in confusion, as I relax my muscles in relief.

"You... ok?" he asks curiously.

I sigh "yes I'm fine, I see you decided to join us after all" I say, changing the topic.

"Yeah" he replies with a smile.

"I'm glad" I say, with a small smile of my own.

'I don't know what's gotten into me, but I don't completely hate this'

He starts walking towards me until we are just inches apart.

"You... have a beautiful smile" he says seriously.

My cheeks turn crimson at his comment, as I look away shyly.

"Th-thanks" I stutter.

'This is so unlike me'

I swear I see him smirk slightly from the corner of my eye, as he then proceeds to pat my head affectionately.

"You should... do it more often" he smiles and walks towards the waterfall.

I stare dumbfounded at what just happened, cheeks still tinted pink.

(Somewhere at the edge of the forest)

"Well would you look at that, the Wolf has a heart" Hak smirks.

"I knew this would happen eventually" Kija smirks.

"What do you mean, White Snake?" Hak questions

"The untold legend says that Viribus and Seiryuu fell in love. It's only natural that the attraction would carry on to their descendants" he informs, ignoring the nickname.

"It's nice to see her act like this, it can't be healthy for her to keep her feelings bottled up" Yona says.

"Yeah I agree" Yoon adds.

"I hope it works out with them, they are cute together" Yona smiles.

"I know two others that would be cute together" Yoon teases. Hak glares at him.

"What do you mean?" Yona asks in confusion.

"Nothing~" Yoon replies.

(Back to Y/N)

I watch him, as he stares into the water.

"What are yo-" I don't get to finish, before he dives into the water unexpectedly.

"Blue Dragon!" The others rush out of the forest.

'I hope they weren't there the whole time' I think suspiciously, narrowing my eyes.

Suddenly, the Blue Dragon emerges from the water holding a fish. He walks over to Kija and hands it to him. Kija looks shocked before he replies.

"Thank you, but couldn't you have said something?" He questions.

The Blue Dragon then proceeds to curl into a crouched position, shivering.

"Now what, big brother White Snake? He's freezing" Hak teases.

"You're blaming me?!" Kija exclaims.

'I'm conflicted. Should I shift and provide the Blue Dragon with the warmth of my fur? Or should I continue to hide my feelings from the group?'

To Be Continued...
