We look to Yu-ri to see her staring wide eyed. I quickly shift back, ignoring her continued stare.
"Go back to the other girls, we can handle it from here" I say sternly.
She nods to me, still in shock.
"FOCUS!" I yell, snapping her out of her daze.
"R-right!" She says, running back where we came from.
"Let's go" I turn to the Wolf next to me, shifting into my own.
We head in the direction the other two went, our paws hitting the floor quietly, despite our large sizes. We reach the outside just as the sound of a firework fills our ears. Vita releases a loud howl of excitement as the adrenaline kicks in. I laugh at his pup like actions.
'You're such a pup' I say, looking back at his excited form.
Now the real battle begins.

Y/N POV
As we run across the ship's deck my ears twitch at the sound of someone shouting. I look in its direction and spot Yona and Yoon, but what I see makes my blood boil. A low and threatening growl escapes my lips, causing Vita to cower slightly at my angry aura. A group of men have both Yoon and Yona pinned to the ground roughly. The two are covered in injuries caused by the men, my eyes darken.
'Vita, you handle the men holding Yoon. I'll take the ones on Yona' I say, struggling to contain my anger.
'Yes Alpha!'
We charge forward full speed, alerting the men of our presence. Their eyes widen in pure terror as we pounce, knifelike teeth on full display. A ferocious growl rips through my throat, as I knock three men down with ease. One is knocked out instantly, while the other two struggle to get to their feet. One thrusts his sword towards me but I dodge the attack, sinking my teeth into his arm. I swing his body around in my grip and release, launching him straight into a wall. He falls unconscious and I turn, narrowly dodging an attack from the third guy. His sword lodges itself into a barrel and he struggles to pull it free. I use this to my advantage and slam my body into his, sending him over the edge of the boat. A loud splash is heard, as he becomes submerged in the water.
"(Y/N)! Look out!" Yona calls out in desperation.
I turn around to see a fourth man directly in front of me, his sword already swinging down towards my head. I brace myself for the inevitable pain, but it's doesn't come. The man yells out in pain as three throwing knives hit him, sending him to the ground unconscious. A flash of green lands in front of me.
"What happened to easily overpowering mere humans" Jae-ha's teasing tone fills my ears.
I shift into my human form with an annoyed expression.
"I had everything under control" I say stubbornly.
"Sure~"
"Whatever" I scowl.
Vita, Yona and Yoon run towards us, having defeated the rest of the men.
"Alpha, are you okay?!" Vita asks, now in human form.
"I'm fine"
"Who's he?" Jae-ha asks, poking Vitas silky white ears.
Vita flinches and stumbles away with pink dusted cheeks.
"P-please don't touch my ears" he stutters from behind me.
"Why?" Jae-ha questions curiously.
"(Y/N) said something about them being sensitive" Yoon says, recalling the conversation when they first found out I was a Shifter.
"What kind of sensitive?" He smirks, looking in my direction.
Before the conversation can go any further, we are cut off by a ladder slamming onto the side of the boat. A large group of men start to crawl across from the neighbouring boat.
"Yona!" Jae-ha shouts, pulling her behind him.
"Alpha, stand back!" Vita does the same with me, to my surprise.
Just as some of the men make it on the boat, a familiar scent hits my nose as Shin-ah arrives. He uses his sword to slash the enemies and knocks the ladder away, temporarily stalling their advance.
"Shin!" A large smile spreads across my face.
He turns to us as I run towards him, engulfing him in a hug. He returns the embrace with a smile.
"Took you long enough" I grin up at him.
"I'm glad you're ok" he chuckles lightly.
"Who is that guy, Alpha?" Vita asks with judging eyes.
I try to pull away from the embrace to answer Vita, but Shin-ah only tightens his hold. I look up at him curiously but shrug it off. I instead, choose to turn around within his arms to face Vita, my back pressed firmly against Shin-ah's chest.
"This is Shin-ah, he's the Blue Dragon. Shin, this is Vita, he's a Wolf Shifter like me" I smile, introducing them.
"Is he your mate?" Vita questions curiously.
"I'm still not entirely sure what a mate is, but (W/N) said he was. So yes?" I say unsure.
"We'll see. I'll find out for sure later" Vita says with an unreadable look.
"Okay" I say with slight confusion.
Shin-ah intertwines our hands and I look up to him with a smile. I see both Yoon and Jae-ha giving knowing smirks towards us, only furthering my confusion.
"So, where's Thunder Beast? I thought he would come" Yoon asks, breaking the tension I was unaware of.
"Hak is an important member of our fighting force. So I, who can jump, and Shin-ah, who can see in the dark, came instead" Jae-ha informs.
"I bet he and Kija were not happy with that decision" I smirk. "By the way, Jae-ha..."
"Hmm?" He looks towards me.
"Thanks... for saving me back there... and I'm sorry for... you know, beating you up" I say, not making eye contact.
His eyes widen as he stares at me in disbelief.
"You're welcome, beautiful" he smirks, regaining his composure.
"Don't push it" I growl.
He raises his hands in mock surrender with a chuckle
