"What are you doing?" he breathed, approaching me slowly, running his fingers along the papers strewn on the table on which I was seated.
"My job," I answered, cocking my head to the side.
"And you require Taehyung for it?" he stopped walking when his legs brushed against my knees.
"No, but Taehyung requires me for it. He doesn't go behind my back to make changes to my work. He comes to me and constructs it with me," I said and folded my hands. Not today, devil man.
He put both hands on either side of my seat, leaning forward till his face was inches from mine, "oh, we're still on that?" he whispered.
"No." I turned my head to the side and firmly claimed.
He put his hand on the side of my face and turned it till my eyes met his.
"I already apologized for that, doll. Would you like me to apologize again? Differently?" he cocked his hand to the side and his hand rested delicately on my neck, the cold of his rings burning into my skin.
His fingers slithered to the back and hooked around my neck firmly as he brought his mouth on mine. His soft, plump lips pried mine open and that was it. I was a goner. My back arched and I leaned into the kiss as his other hand wrapped around my thigh. The kiss deepened and my head titled backward to give him better access, my hands pulling him by the lapels of his jacket.
We leaned backward, Jimin occupying the space in between my knees. I wanted to yank him by his jacket and get down to it right there on the table.
With the door unlocked.
I didn't care.
Damn it, Park.
Just when the exploration of our limbs was getting interesting, his hand flattened against the base of my neck and he pushed back, before pulling me forward by the shoulder. I scurried to gather the thoughts that scattered from the sudden deprivation of his lips.
"Please, Ms. Tara," he said, his head hanging down before looking up, right into my eyes and adding, "we are at work. Where is your professionalism?" he leered, still leaning on the table.
Excuse me?! My mouth dropped open.
"What?! You! You came at me! I didn't even- urgh!" My brows furrowed as I pointed furiously and stared at him in disbelief.
He chuckled and stood up straight, "This is me not going behind your back, doll. I do hope I'm being 'productive.'"
I scowled at him and pushed him back, gluing my knees together, where he was- a blissful 10 seconds ago.
"If anything, you put me far behind schedule." I muttered and ruffled my hair in clear frustration.
"I've been here five minutes, Tara," he frowned and put a hand on his hips. Cute.
"Sure, but you'll keep distracting me up in my head thanks to these 5 minutes," I stated, honestly and hopped off the table.
His eyes creased as he laughed.
"That's good to know, doll," his finger grazed my forehead as he pushed a stray lock ofhair off my face, "I love that I can do that. I want to be on your mind. All the time, preferably ."
