The next day I woke up to one Park Jimin entangled into me. His breathing was soft and steady and his lashes were delicately fanned on his cheeks.

I blinked, hoping to capture the moment. If this a joke, it can stop now.

I swept my hand through his silken hair, hoping he sleeps better and longer to recuperate faster. I took a moment soaking in his warmth before carefully moving out of his bed. He groaned in response to the movement as I slid out successfully, then securing his blanked around him. I planted a wispy kiss on his forehead before slipping into his bathroom and freshening up, stopping only to silently sniff his shampoo and smile to myself.

"Good morning, Tara," Jin raised his brow at me while simultaneously flipping a pancake on the stove.

"Morning, beautiful," I smiled and looked around the living room. I wanted things to go back to normal as soon as they could.

He laughed casually.

"Come, eat," Jin beckoned before adding, "did Jimin sleep well?"

"As far as I know," I approached the kitchen counter.

"That is if you guys even slept?" he chuckled, placing a pancake on a large plate.

My face heated up and eyes widened.

"Um, yeah, of course, I mean, yes- we slept. We just slept," I managed to salvage my stumbling words.

He chuckled, "I know, he's sick. Would've been awfully inconsiderate of you... or actually, I don't know. Might've helped."

He might have stopped after seeing my face heat up to the point that it would explode. I didn't know.

I picked at the pancake he slid to me.

"What is this?" he asked after a while.

"Hmm?" I looked up, half a pancake sticking out of my mouth.

"You and Jimin... what is it?" he handled the question as skilfully as he did the stove.

I sighed.

"I don't really know. I didn't think much about the technicalities. I mean... We haven't even had a single conversation about it." I finished off my pancake, holding out my hand when he offered another.

"but you care about him, don't you?"

I bit my lip hesitantly.

"Is it possible to know Park Jimin and not care about him?" I whispered.

A small smile engulfed Jin's face and his eyes twinkled in response. He knows what I'm talking about.

I turned to face the sound of shuffling feet entering the kitchen.

Yoongi dragged his feet across the floor, as though he were doing the universe a favor by existing. Closely followed Jimin, looking just as lethargic, owing to his health. Still looks like a fucking snack, though.

"Good morning, oppa," I said to Yoongi when his eyes landed on me and I tore mine from Jimin.

He groaned, "good morning, Tara. I hate mornings but I wouldn't complain if this was the view they brought me," he patted my head and padded along.

I chuckled.

"Excuse me?" Jimin narrowed his eyes at Yoongi, "I'm right here, hyung! And you," he pointed at me, "don't giggle like that."

I opened my mouth to protest when Yoongi voiced silenced the room.

"What? It's not like she's your girlfriend."

Oh no.

He didn't address the elephant in the room- he fucking paraded it in our faces.

The kitchen fell silent and the temperature dropped a couple of degrees.

I snapped out of my shock when Jin cleared his throat loudly.

Then, I rummaged to shift the atmosphere.

"Um... How do you feel?" I walked and stopped short of Jimin, "you shouldn't have gotten up," I nudged him out of the kitchen, but he didn't budge.

"Here, I'll get you breakfast in your room, go rest," Jin directed as Yoongi slid out of the kitchen with a water bottle and not one additional word.

Jimin looked down at me.

"Did you sleep well?" I asked.

"Tell me good morning, too, doll," he purred, ignoring my question.

I took a minute looking at him.

"Good morning," I muttered and looked down, my face getting warm from the way that he looked at me.

"No, do it properly," he whispered. I looked up at him and took a sharp breath.

I turned to look if Jin was paying attention to us, but Jimin brought my face back to his with an index finger curled along my jaw.

"Ta-" he started to say, but I stopped him by planting a swift kiss smack on his mouth.

Jin giggled behind us and I shuffled out of the room.

Jimin followed closely before securing me in one spot with his grasp on my elbow. His body closed in on mine from behind.

I shivered.

"I slept well, doll. I always sleep well with you," he whispered by my ear and placed a soft peck right underneath it.

I squirmed and smiled under the intimate gesture as his hand slid into mine and he led me to the dining table where all of Bangtan awaited.
