I closely followed Taehyung as I ducked into the Bangtan residence. I could tell Jimin was itching to be beside me, but refrained from any touching that could set off the members. They knew we were okay, but they didn't think we were even friends.
And we aren't.
Jimin walked in behind me, his hand softly grazing my back as he ushered me into their home. Any excuse to touch.
"Welcome home!" Taehyung yelled once we were in the house, and Yoongi said "hold on" and retreated to where I presumed was his room as though he were a man on mission.
The house was big and pretty, and not as messy as I expected a home of 7 men to be.
"Let's eat," Jungkook groaned, putting an end to my admiration of their home.
"This is a cool space, you guys," I told everyone.
"Ah really?" Hoseok asked, setting the table and smiling brightly.
"Yeah, it's pretty," I admitted. Prettier than your house.
"I can't believe you were so fascinated by my house when you basically live in a palace," I muttered in Jimin's direction.
He smirked and opened his mouth to say something when he was interrupted.
"Really? When has Jimin been to your house?" Namjoon asked, the first to sit himself on the table.
"That one time I had to give a jacket back," Jimin shrugged, helping me out of my jacket, and placing it on the side with his.
We walked to the dinner table set by Hoseok and Jin and sat down, Jimin to my left.
"I can't believe Jimin has seen your house and I haven't," Taehyung groaned and sat to my right, "why haven't you ever invited me?"
"Because you'll come into my house and never leave, Tae" I smiled sweetly, "I'd have to adopt you."
Taehyung whined, "don't be rude, Ta-"
"What about us?" Jungkook said, enthusiastically serving himself.
"Would I have to adopt all of you?" I feigned surprise.
The boys laughed as Taehyung playfully slapped my shoulder.
"How about I adopt you instead?" Jin laughed.
"Oh, what a blessed child I would be," I shook my head in reverence and laughed, adding,
"No, but seriously though, come any time you'd like, I owe you guys dinner now," I said before eating a spoonful of rice.
Jimin stayed quiet for a large part of dinner, making his presence prominently known after a while, when he placed his hand on my thigh under the table and slid it down to my knee. I almost choked on the water I was drinking, trying to suppress coughs and failing miserably.
"Are you alright?" Hoseok asked as Yoongi approached the table.
"Yeah, why?" "No, I'm good," Yoongi and I said simultaneously.
"Huh?" Yoongi frowned as he sat down.
"Sorry, oppa. I think he was talking to me." I smiled sheepishly.
Jimin's hand tightened on my thigh. I cleared my throat and assimilated into the conversation when Jimin leaned in, "An apology AND you call him oppa? Why are you such a fangirl with Yoongi hyung?"
"Because I am," I said, "a fangirl."
"All of ours?" he smirked.
"Don't ask questions you don't want answers to," I raised an eyebrow.
He sighed and propped his head on his knuckles, "just you wait." A small smile lingered on his lips.
I snapped my head to the right when Taehyung suddenly asked, "hey, Tara, do you want to play a video game with Jungkookie and I?"
"Do you guys play Counter Strike?" I smirked.
"Hell yeah!" the two of them yelled in unison.
"Well, then prepare to get your asses kicked," I smiled artificially.
Bring it on, boys.
