Jimin sank to the floor in guilt and regret.
How did it come to this?
He looked around the house and it no more felt like one of his comfort spots. Her scent lingered, but he knew it wouldn't last. He couldn't stand there, reveling in it, not knowing the bounds of his limited control once it completely faded.
The house was plain white- just like she liked it. Despite being clinical, her hair ties, lighter, worn but not too dirty jackets, few photos here and there, and her presence- made it a home. But it never felt as cold as it did to him now.
She took everything.
She'll come back, won't she?
Why didn't I stop her? Why didn't I go after her?
Why didn't I at least try?
His resolve broke away almost at the same time as hers did, tears fought to escape the sides of his closed eyes- and won. He pulled out the delicate black lace choker that had come undone in his hand, the first night he lost control with her, at the club. He gripped it tight in the same hand, wondering what he could have changed.
I should have done something. I should have told her.
Or I should have never have started this in the first place.
// This ends Part I, I hope you enjoyed it! Part II will come soon, I think. Thank you x //
