Blessings

I’ve been lost In a fog
I’ve succumb to evil
The devil in my ear
Is always deceitful

You pulled me out of that pit
And put me on my feet
Even though I questioned you
You still believed in me

I’ve spent countless nights
Sending up prayers
Begging you to answer
Just to know you’re there

I’ve been skeptical at times
And questioned your motives
But now I’ve seen the light
And my faith is devoted

I know that I’m here
To fulfill a purpose
Tell me what to do
For I am your servant

I understand my troubles
Have all been lessons
Though I don’t always show it
I’m grateful for the blessings
