You’re stumbling through life
You’ve lost your way
You’re struggling to make it
Throughout each day
The path you’ve chosen
Is cold and dark
It’s put a hole
In your empty heart
You play the victim
In your own head
You can’t be alone
So you fill your bed
But even those men
Can’t give you closure
So you hit the bottle
And give up being sober
You numb your body
Just to try to get by
You hit a new low
Every time you get high
You’re lying to yourself
But from what I can see
You’re worth so much more
Than who you turned out to be.
