You struggle to breathe
With that hole in your chest
Someone tossed you away
Though you gave your best
The weight of the loss
Seems to hold you down
And I know it’s hard
To get off the ground
But you can’t stay sad
Because they made you feel
They helped you learn
That love is real
So pick yourself up
Raise your chin
And put yourself
Back together again
