I wear a smile on my face
For everybody else
I wear a smile on my face
But I can't fool myself

I push through my day
With a convincing façade
The type of performance
One could applaud

I’m just a broken man
With so much love to give
Yet I can't love myself
Enough to want to live

But no one even knew
I wanted to leave this place
All because I wore
A smile on my face
