Trying to focus on happiness
And everything that it brings
But thoughts of me and you
Are pulling at my heart strings
I’m giving my all
To a life of positivity
But my world came crashing down
When you said that you missed me
I’m doing my thing
And I know that it all seems cool
But you’re texting my phone
And my mindset gets overruled
We went our separate ways
And I always say the wrong things
Because I’m here suffocating
Hanging by my heart strings.
