In my chest
Is a raging fire
It burns with hope
Passion and desire
To inspire kids
To follow their dreams
To let then know
Life’s not as bad as it seems
I know it’s tough
We bend and break
Never knowing
How much we can take
Life is hard
And sometimes unfair
We feel so alone
Like no one is there
But through the smoke
There’s a glimpse of light
Like something saying
It will be alright
Ignore the bad
Like it doesn’t exist
And let my words guide you
Through the mist
I strive to make a difference
Not to boast or flaunt
But to change the world
Is all that I want
