You watch from the back of the room as Bruno looks off into the distance. The interviewer just asked him if he's alright for the second time yet he seems to not have noticed. He's focus on his hands that rest together, clasped in his lap. One of the boom-mic operators calls out to him, instructs him to re-position himself in his seat to ensure his voice will be captured as clearly as possible. He does as he's told then looks over at the person for conformation.

"Better?" he asks taking off his large green tinted aviators for a moment. He cleans them quickly with the edge of his shirt then glances back over. His deep browns are soft and the edges of his eyes appear almost wet. According to Brandon Creed, his manager, he's been this way since Jessica broke up with him a month ago. He's been quiet, spending more time alone that usual, playing less drums and more piano and guitar which would be normal except that his most recent work has been more about beat machines and classic 80s and 90s era sound add-ins.

"Yeah." The mic operator nods. "That's good."

"Sorry," Bruno replies and puts his sunglasses back on. When the interview begins he seems to make a conscious effort to appear up beat. He smiles and tries to go on with his usual natural TV personality antics of making jokes and adding funny anecdotes to make things more interesting. In the short time you've been working as his temporary manager, you learned alot about him. His personality isn't far from who he appears to be according to the public. He's down to earth, humble, honest and incredibly talented but he also has a flashy, showy side with charisma for days. There are two things that keep him going, his love for music and his love for those around him. In the lulls between questions and answer Bruno's playful expression falters but upon finding something interesting to say he recovers it and manages to finish the interview. As it ends and he's thanked for coming and his face returns to how it was at the beginning: soft, pained and distant. He makes his way toward you and as he exits the room, you follow.

"Do I have any other appearances to make for the day?" he asks removing his shades. He reaches inside his suit jacket and stores them away then he looks at you.

"You did," you reply gently. "But I cancelled them." His eyes widen for a moment but he quickly looks ahead and continues walking.

"You didn't have to do that." The two of you round he next left corner, walk through the lobby of the building and out to the car waiting just out front. Paparazzi swarms the two of you but Bruno handles them with suave calm, casually waving as he quickly walks by without making eye contact with anyone. He opens the door for you, you climb inside and then he enters after you. The driver pulls off and the two of you put on your seat-belts.

"I cancelled your other appointments because thought it was best," you say carefully choosing your words. "I thought you could use a break from the public." He glances over at you and the way his deep browns pierce your eyes sends a warm chills down your spine.

"I appreciate that." He gives you a small smile. You draw one of your unruly hairs out of your face and behind your ear.

"No problem." He looks straight ahead and as the car exits the upper city the driver slows down as traffic becomes a little dense.

"Would you like for me to take you home Mr. Mars?" the driver inquires.

"No, I'd like to go to the studio, please." You unlock your phone, pull up his schedule then look back at him.

"You don't have another studio session until the next week," you state confirming what you said with the calendar before you.

"I've got some ideas I need to get out of my head," he says. "I've got to record this before I loose it."
