You slam the door in his face, turn and prop yourself up against it as you angrily wipe tears from you cheeks. Your skin is hot, nearly the same temperature as the backs of your eyes. Your fists clench you as you take a deep breath and scream at the top of your lungs. If you were a cartoon character you think to yourself, your skin and eyes would bright red and smoke would be billowing out of your ears.He had no right to dance with her. Of all people why her? He knows how you feel about her.

"Come on (Y/N)," Ian calls out through the door. "It was stupid, I wasn't thinking. I'm sorry."

"I don't care!" you yell back.

"I'm sorry (Y/N), I mean it," he pleads. He goes quiet for a moment and for a second you think that he heeded your apparent want for him to leave. He cusses under his breath.

"(Y/N), my key is in there. Come on let me in."

"NO." Ian spends the next ten minutes attempting to get you to open the door to which you refuse with a series of colorful words and insults. You hear footsteps leading away from the door and as soon as its completely silent, you open the door and look out. Ian is no where in sight and the floor hallway is completely empty, from the elevator to the end of the hall. You sigh exasperatedly and close the door again.

This is it. You think to yourself as you walk around the hotel suite you share with Ian collecting the things you have strewn about over your stay thus far. One by one, you re-pack your things in your suitcase, then grab your purse and push your feet into you Adidas slides at the door. You take both your room key and Ian's and carry them to the front desk. The attendant, a young guy with dark brown hair and hazel/green eyes, looks at you with a small smile that quickly fades.

"Leaving so soon miss?"

"No but, I would like to order another room. Is that possible?"

"Of course," he replies directing his attention to his station for a moment. He taps at the keys then looks back at you. "Is there a problem with the room? A complaint you would like to place?"

"No, no the room's perfect. I would like to change rooms for personal reasons." You place the two keys on the counter top. "I would like a room to myself please." He glances down at the keys for a moment and some form of understanding washes over his face, he nods curtly and takes the keys.

"Yes ma'am, I can do that for you." He asks if there is a specific type of room that you would like and you inform him of you preferences. Then he hands you your new room key, you thank him and turn to leave but as you do a thought pops into your head and you turn back.

"Excuse me."

"Yes?" the attendant asks.

"If the man I checked in with comes here asking about his key," you begin. "Give him both keys."

"I understand." You thank him again, he wishes you a good night and you take the elevator up to your new room. Once you find it and get situated inside, you go to the closet where you've hung the dresses you brought with you and look through them. Out of the four, you choose the black bodycon one shoulder dress complete with mesh slits across your stomach and hip; you pair it with the peep-toe Alexander McQueen heels you saved up for. You curl your hair into light waves, then pin it back and take your time as you create a dark smoky-eye look blending black with neutral browns and a little bit of gold. You punctuate your look with a soft matte nude and get into your dress. With your clutch packed with all your essentials, you leave your room and head down to the casino. Strutting in your heels, you buy yourself a drink and nurse it as you look for your first game to play. You blow through half of your spending money, visit the claims counter and get your earnings put on a secure card before you head over to one of the poker tables. You purchase take a seat and play several hands, you win two hands a row and as a result a few men attempt to get your attention, offering to buy you drinks. You thwart their attempts curtly, buy yourself another drink and continue playing until you feel your self starting to get cocky. Instead of cleaning out the competition, you pull out of the game, collect your earnings at the counter head to the lobby there the same attendant that helped you earlier still stands. He looks you over and obviously impressed by your look, runs his hand across the side of his neck.
