p.s. I swooned several times watching the video even after the 20th time so...

Love you all, hope you like this!

Excuse me while I go watch the 'Please Me' video 20 more times. XD

In the following year you continue living with your bestfriend Brin until she gets married and moves into a home with her husband. She gives you her apartment and your life goes on. You refrain from dating for until you meet Asher. You didn't want to date and he didn't force you. He slowly pursued you instead. He's sweet, attentive, caring and friendly and his pitfalls are easy to manage. After a four dates or so, start seeing him exclusively and before you know it, six months of your relationship has passed. You have Asher meet your parents, invite him to family holidays and see him through all kinds of different situations. You meet his family, his friends, his parents and he really opens up to you. After four years you find yourself engaged. You don't live with

Asher but you do spend a few nights at a time at his place.

All dressed for work, you make your way downstairs and walk into Asher's kitchen. The counter tops are clear just as you remember leaving them last night after you cooked dinner for the two of you. After putting some coffee on you take to the fridge and see what you have to work with. You choose to go for veggie omelets with cheese on top and toast on the side. Just as you lean forward to turn the stove off you hear the padding of bare feet on the tiled floor behind you. "Good morning," you say sweetly.

"Mornin'," Asher says softly; he presses his lips to your cheek then makes his way over to the coffee pot. He pours himself a mug, fixes it up his usual way and then take seat at the kitchen island opposite you. he's wearing just his boxers alone. His dark wavy hair sits messily on top of his head and his light brown eyes are soft and sleepy looking and there are little grey-ish bags beneath his eyes. He takes a sip from his mug then looks up at you. "Leaving me early again this morning?" You feel chuckle rise from your chest. You giggle as he smirks at you.

"I have to go in early, I have to help plan for that important dinner I told you about. It's only a week away."

"Right, right, you did say that." He has another sip then set his mug down again. You put his plate in front of him then he thanks you. "I'm just saying," he states picking up his fork. "I might have to go in there and give them a piece of my mind. They're cutting in on my time with my fiancee." He raises an eyebrow at you.

"Come in with me then," you retort with a smirk.

"I'll give them once more chance," he says shoving a forkful of egg in his cheek. "Only one more." You set the pan you used in the sink then walk to the fridge from which you pull the lunch you prepared for today and and then take all of your things to the door. As you stop out you shrug your things up on your shoulders.

"Love you Ash, see you later," You say as you start toward the door.

"Hey," he calls you. you look back and he's walking toward you. He leans in and you lightly press your lips to his. "Love you too," you reply.
