Depression
Determined to make people believe you're okay.
Especially your friends.
Please ignore the tear streaks down my face.
Relying on my fake smile to cover up the truth.
Elaborate placing on slices on skin.
Secret trails of blood.
Sanity is what I hope it brings.
I know better now, this isn't the way.
On the road to recovery.
Nothing can destroy this determination.
