WEEK 10-a (December 11-17-a) (A (ah) poem)

Lets have some fun to end off the competition.

One thing that has developed in the last X number of years, is the habit of people adding A (ah) to the last word of their sentence.

"Where are you going-a?"

"Oh, just to the mall-a."

So I thought it would be fun to have a little fun, poking fun, at this, sometimes, irritating trend.

So for Week 10 ...

WEEK 10

December 11 - 17

"A" (ah) Poem

8 lines (2, four line stanzas)

any topic

all lines must rhyme with A (ah)

all Pubbers allowed 2 poems for this competition

I have an example below.

I approach really slow-a

the Hawaiian volcano Maunaloa

I didn't want to go-a

but my family wanted to, so-a

its safe they all told me-a

don't be such a bay-be-a

then it blew and now see-a

I think I did a little pee-a

So, have some fun-a, with this week-a.

I would also ask that with each submission you include (separately) a poem for our Poem A Day Collection. Lets get that thing filled.
